I'm Pretty sure it's ironic

Not only is The Fence a brilliant song by Tim Minchin, a newspaper being titled 'The Fence' just makes me giggle. Also, the picture is pretty cool.

This is intended to act as a sort of Journal regarding the decisions I make and the effects on my life in Erepublic.

Granted, this will come across as me trying to justify the bad ( all ) decisions that I've make, I assure you that this is pure coincidence, as i seem to have a unusual compulsion to 'try new things' and to use logic derived from other sources ( in this case games ) to try and prove.. something.

I'm not quite sure what I'm trying to prove, but it makes the games I play more interesting ( for me ), no matter how often I shoot myself in my steel-capped boots ( I do occasionally learn from experience ).

Basically, this will be me going against almost all of the advice that I am given, doing little to no research and making even worse decisions. There is reason to believe that most of the articles Post ( publish ? ) will have the underlying theme of 'it seemed like a good idea at the time'.

'The Fence' will be posted under 'First Steps' purely as a guide to new players for things they should avoid, and an example of how horribly wrong ( hopefully not that horribly ) things can get if you don't follow advice and go out of your way not to do research, just to keep things interesting.

It will be updating weekly, or whenever I feel that anything relevant enough to impact on the choices I've made or will make.

Each post ( story ? ) will finish with a brief summary of my umm.. everything I guess. As well as a brief list of goals and the reasoning behind them.

Yes, I will more than likely be using shoddy math and awkward logic.

No, I will not apologise in advance for the higher than average chance that each post ( I'm going to stick with post I think ) will devolve into a largely redundant wall'o text.

Untill next time

p.s. any spelling / grammar mistakes are definitely intentional

p.p.s. feel free to post all advice and tips, as i wouldnt want to encourage anyone to follow in my footsteps. 'greater good' is one of the phrases that come to mind..
