I Love Greece

Day 678, 21:19 Published in Greece Greece by Weasle

For those of you who are against unselfish propaganda, turn away, this is your only warning.

I think people tend to forget when they argue each other, that they have so much in common. Just being people, and that they can respect, and even love each other. I think people are the most stubborn creature to have ever walked the earth, and they would rather scream at those they care about then to lose a point, or be made a fool.

And so like brothers we argue with each other, and hate each other, and disrespect each other. When we are all of the same blood, of the same kin. When, like the Parents watching silently, we need to realize when it doesn't matter who's wrong or right. That we are a family, a unit, a team, and we are in it together.

I've been the brother the last few times you've heard from me. I got lost. Without any other way to describe, I was akin to Cain. When it doesn't really matter.

What does matter, is that I love eGreece, am eGreek, love the freedom, love being in the army, love the people here, even those who I severely disagree with, love working here for both the wages and for the knowledge that its helping this country of which I love. Love watching politicians being voted for based on ability not party, and most of all I love being able to argue my points here, with out(for the most part) being discredited from the start.

All of this, and so much more Greece, and all of the people(you!) offer me. And so, I suppose, I love this country. Honestly, isn't that all that really matters?
