I am sad.
Conrad Dietoten
I have been playing eRepublik for about 2 months now and boy did I pick a bad place and time to start at. I was born in the Rhineland in Germany and after about a week and a half or so, South Africa made its call to arms against Indonesia. Being new and wanting a taste of combat, I saved my money and moved to South Africa. Unfortunately when I got there the fight was over because Indonesia and Brazil had territory swapped. I decided I would stay in eSA though because I really liked the people there. Everyone was so happy and friendly despite half their territories were missing. I thought everything would be fine.
However, few weeks later Sweden attacked my homeland and I had to return. I fought at Schleswig-Holstein and was there when it fell. Realizing that Germany would fall I returned to South Africa where my help was requested to help prevent a PTO of my new home. This failed and South Africa was lost.
After this I went to the US in exile because at this point both of my homes were gone. I tried to help fight in Germany from the US but after peace was signed with Sweden and Poland I was helpless. And now both of the countries I love are completely wiped off the map. Just my luck.
While in the US I followed the progress of the PTO in Indonesia and was hopeful something might come of it, in way of freeing one of my new home of South Africa. I eagerly volunteered to go and help vote the Romanian candidate into the presidency but now that has failed miserably.
So now I am in Indonesia-controlled South Africa Trying to save enough IDR to get some moving tickets and maybe some gold while I'm at it. But I am left wondering, why is all of this happening? Why does ATLANTIS collapse when we need it most? Why does Indonesia succeed at everything they do? And why can't I have my home back? I wish there was something more I could do but right now I'm just a sad and lost little newb.
Sorry, I needed to rant.
