I am not doing as much damage as I should...wat do?

I don't understand what is going on with the
damage I am getting. Here is the official
Damage Formula:

😨 Damage per hit
R: Value of the Aircraft rank (Group Captain***** = 55)
FP: Citizen's firepower (no weapons = 0)
P: Perception (always 0)

Damage formula
D = 10 × (1 + P/400) × (1 + R/5) × (1 + FP/100)
Remove Perception
D = 10 ×(1 + R/5) × (1 + FP/100)
No weapons
D = 10 × (1 + R/5)
Rank=55
D = 10 × (1 + 55/5) Group Captain*****
D = 10 × (1 + 11) Group Captain*****
D = 10 × (12) Group Captain*****
D = 120 Group Captain*****

I should be getting 120 points of damage per hit,
but these are actual numbers from three fights:

Energy 6240
Damage 91,393
Dam/En 14.6

Energy 100
Damage 1,465
Dam/En 14.7

Energy 2250
Damage 32,949
Dam/En 14.6

I am only getting about 15 points per hit,
instead of the 120 using the Damage calculation.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

Bear in mind the wiki is almost entirely user generated and thus may be inaccurate.
Also this formula is definitely before the protector of nations bonus was implemented.

You calculated damage/energy and the formula is damage/hit

1 hit = 10 energy.

Add in a protector bonus and 10% elite citizen bonus and it should be pretty close to your calculations.

What I discovered, the formula is worth after the rank #39, Chief Master Sergeant* .
From that rank, where our damage is 66 per hit (1 hit = 10 energy), you effectively gain 5 flat more damage every rank up. So in rank 40 Chief Master Sergeant** we make 71 damage per hit.
Going on to my rank, 50, Group Captain, I make 121 damage per hit.
Going on to your rank, 55, Group Captain***** , you make 146 damage per hit.
After next rank up you will make 151 damage per hit.

Before the rank 39 it was a mess, every rank up gave different damage.
