Hungarian TO Attempt..... Again

Day 542, 14:39 Published in Canada Canada by Derek Harland

The Hungarians are like pesky little flies, you can never get them to go away and leave you alone. It has now been confirmed that there is another political takeover being attempted by Hungary at this very moment. I was excited to see that the Progressive Party of Canada might actually start to become "progressive" with Joey Phillips in the lead of the election race. After a couple of hours of me at baseball, I return to see that Netfalo has passed Joey Phillips in the lead. The votes are now:

Netfalo: 25
Joey Phillips: 23
1ronman: 15
Alias Vision: 4
Bobby Stirton: 1

Suspicions started to raise on Netfalo when he randomly joined the PPC party president election raise yesterday and already got a huge number of votes. The suscipions of another Hungarian PTO attempt were confirmed when Netfalo's donations were all to Hungarians and a member of congress in eCanada went into the Hungarian takeover IRC channel (yes, they actually have an IRC channel for political takeovers). The congressman saw that they were talking about Netfalo being one of the takeover members and that is when the suspicions were confirmed.

The good thing this time around is that even if Netfalo does win the PPC elections, we have already known about this before the congressional elections so it shouldn't be a problem from preventing them getting a majority congress. The last Hungarian PTO attempt, we all thought that the PNQ party president was sincere. This gave them the opportunity to suprise us in the congress elections. If Netfalo does take over the PPC however, there is still a possibility that they can do some damage if they get enough backers in congress.

So this is not a joke! If you haven't voted in this month's party president elections, I strongly encourage you to vote for Joey Phillips. I strongly support Joey and I feel that he will do a great job in turning the PPC around and also he is the closest to Netfalo, only two votes back. If you aren't in the PPC and are wondering why you can't vote for Joey Phillips, just re-sign from your current party and join the PPC. Then vote for Joey Phillips. Here is the link to the PPC election page: PPC Election Page

This is no laughing matter eCanada. Do your part and vote for Joey Phillips in this month's party president elections! Maybe after a second takeover failure, Hungary might stop attempting it.

This is Derek Harland signing off.
