How to save money in Erepublik
Blamo Corp
Strapped for cash? Many new citizens of eCanada find they have a difficult time saving money. It's not easy, but there are several methods of saving an extra few gold per month. In the long run, some easy habits can earn you a lot of money!
1. Designate a minimum amount of money you will save each day. Many citizens get their paycheck and blow it all immediately on food or weapons. How can you save up to buy a good house if you're not putting any of your income aside? Blamo Corp recommends you take a look at your wage, and decide how much you will be willing to not spend each day. Put this in your corporation account, or force yourself not to spend it! Saving 10% of your wage each day is a good start.
2. Buy Q2Food and Q2 gifts. Use a friend or a gifting partner to be able to gift yourself the wellness. So, why does this save you money in the long run? Let's look at Q4 foo😛
Q4 Food = 7.13 CAD
___________________
Total = 7.13 CAD / Day
or 219 CAD / Month
This is not too much money, after all. But let's suppose you purchase Q2 food and a Q2 gift each day instead.
Q2 Food = 1.59 CAD
Q2 Gift = 3.90 CAD (Lavish Gift Purchased by Cadeaux de Camaraderie
_____________________
Total = 5.49 CAD / Day
or 165 CAD / Month
A citizen who knows about this tip gets a net 55 CAD PER MONTH!!! This is equivalent to nearly 2 gold, which is quite a bit in the long run. Additionally, you are also getting more wellness than Q4 food gives you alone, because the amount of wellness given by food is not linear (less wellness given the higher your wellness is).
With these combined tips, you may be able to save up to 5 gold each month, enough to really buy the things you need in eRepublik.

Keeping active militarily also can help one save.
This war of convenience with Ireland has been both a boom and and boon for eCanada. On the one hand, our CAF are experiencing a surge in experience, but on the other hand, the domestic Moving Ticket companies are hurting.
So long as you fight at least once a week, one doesn't need high value food and gifts.
Remember: You are not the contents of your inventory.
Live. Fight. Live to fight another day.
If you could fight any ecitizen, who would it be?
"You are not the contents of your inventory."
Very true🙂. This is why I emphasize that the purpose of buying items is to achieve non-material success for your citizen, and not the other way around. Learn to use your money, and don't let your money use you!
i agree. if i was the content of my inventory all i would be is a q5 house and some food 😛
Good points. I buy Q1 food and use the local war and hospital to boost my wellness (and experience). The extra 1 wellness from Q2 food can maybe let you fight once more every ten days. Not needed.
Or you could buy your Q2 gift from the CHS (Canadian Health Services) for 3.09 CAD. Thus saving you 81 cents that will add up.
