NOBODY BUYS YOUR PRODUCTS IN YOUR COUNTRY! YOU WANT TO EXPORT THEM BUT YOU DON'T HOW TO CALCULATE THE PROFIT! THERE ARE 5 EASY STEPS TO FOLLOW.
I took the USA as a country where I want to export Q6 food from Serbia.
EDIT: If you know where to export, skip the first 4 steps and focus on step 5 where the calculation is explained.
FIRST, visit the economic page of the USA http://www.erepublik.com/en/country/USA
and check for Country trading embargoes, Import Tax and VAT
- Country trading embargoes shows which countries cannot export to the USA. In this case you can export from Serbia.
- Import Tax and VAT are the taxes that reduce your product value. In this case taxes for food are 15%.
SECOND, visit the USA market http://economy.erepublik.com/en/market/24/1/6
- Now you know that the price for Q6 food in the USA is 2.59USD.
THIRD, visit Serbian market http://economy.erepublik.com/en/market/65/1/6
- Now you know that the price for Q6 food in Serbia is 1.8RSD.
FOURTH, visit Monetary Market and check the ratio between gold-USD and gold-RSD.
- Now you know that 1 gold worth for 794USD or 617RSD.
FIFTH, a simple calculation can be made:
- Convert the USD price to the RSD price by using next equation:
USA true value [2.2522] * ratio USD/RSD [1.29] = 1.75RSD
1.75
this means that you would sell Q6 food for 0.0322 RSD less than on Serbian market.
DO NOT BE DISAPPOINTED, THERE ARE COUNTRIES WHERE A PROFITABLE EXPORT IS POSSIBLE, JUST SEARCH FOR THEM.

респект за статијата. имам само едно прашање: зашто 15% од 2,59 е 0.3378?
2,59 * 0,15 = 0,3885 !?!?!?!?!
@Destroyer: because 2.59USD is the price with tax. So you equation is not correct. The Tax has to be calculated on a true price (2.2522*0.15=0.337😎. At V1 eRep you could set the true price and eRep would add the tax. Now when you set a price eRep is calculating like you would set true pricee+tax
Odličan tutorial!
