Fellow eRepublik-ers:

(Is that a word? It is now..)

I love this game. It's quite amazing really, when you come to think about it.
It's a game that revolves around what most people would consider to be… the less desirable things in life.
Politics. War. Voting on Income taxes, just to name a few.

But somehow it's all riveting stuff for us… But why?
It takes a special kind of person to be active in eRepublik I think, someone with a strong sense of optimism, duty, and purpose.

A person who believes that no matter what differences lay between us, nothing is impossible.

I believe that, among others, I possess those qualities.

For these reasons and more, I have decided to announce my intention to run for Congress under the AFA banner.

The AFA is a party often misunderstood in the eUS, if we're not "PTO-ers," we're terrorists. We're your worst nightmare and more, a thorn in your side and something that desperately needs eradication.

How?
Why?
What did we ever do to deserve this slander?

We're just like you. We're optimistic. We believe in the best for our country and fair chances for all.

I'm a RL American. I must have applied for citizenship 3 times before I was finally accepted and granted citizenship... By an AFA congressman.
Did any other party work to help me?
If this is supposed to be a democracy where everyone has an equal opportunity, where was mine?

Things need to change. America needs to arise from its slumber and WAKE UP.

We need leaders now, people who can guide us to a new chapter in our great nation's storied history.

Our time is now.
