After growing out from their role as the weaker alliance, Phoenix took command and finally retaliated on the various campaigns Eden shamelessly waged against their original regions, launching many MPP-stacks in the process. The invasion of Croatia was initiated on the final days of V1, and the important, resource-rich and densely populated areas in the Northern parts of Croatia fell on the eve of V2, leaving them to the possession of Hungary and Serbia for a week of frozen war module. The battles for the remnants of Croatia were the first major conflicts in V2, and Phoenix emerged stronger, conquering the entire nation and holding it under their reign all the way to the 23rd day of the month, leading to an abolishment of the Congressional elections and open citizenship.

Encouraged from their successes in Croatia, Phoenix took important victories on other fronts too, though some of them were claimed through the use of wicked tactics of political takeovers. Norway fell in the hands of Russian takeoverists, and the puppet president divided the nation between UK and Russia, leaving Norway to starve in the remote islands of Svalbard & Jan Mayen, leaving the excessive MPP-set alive and taking away the smallest chance of Norway to return to the map at least for a long time. In Ireland, the acting president got furious from the successful impeachment proposal directed against him and attacked British regions, exposing his nation to an invasion coming from the United Kingdom, which started tonight.

In the Southern Hemisphere of the World, Australia finally fell to the Indonesian PTO:ers, and Indonesia proceeded to claim the control of Western Australia, a valuable titanium region. South Africa was PTO:ed as well, quickly tilting the control of titanium regions to heavily favor Phoenix. The Allied nations now control only the Canadian regions of Nunavut and NW Territories, who must produce all the titanium thousands of companies in Eden nations and America need to produce helicopters and artillery.

Losing 2 member nations in one sweep during the elections wasn’t the final blow to Eden in a series of defeats. After claiming Alaska during the battles for Croatia in V1, Russia pushed deeper in to America, eventually conquering the American economic centre and fortress region, California. Fulfilling their promise given in the rental agreement, Poland sealed Russia from attacking other American regions and took California back from them.

Poland sitting in California gave the Allied command the possibility to further plan a campaign that was surely on the drawing board as soon as Poland reached Northern America and settled to their rented regions. USA and China have both failed to invade Liaoning, the Serbian source for Iron and their most important region population-wise. Poland is the only nation in the Allied sphere of nations who have the punch to seriously challenge Serbia on the field. The plan is now slowly been put in to action and Eden is hoping Poland can salvage them, put a stop to the downward spiral and deal a serious blow to Phoenix, stopping their march from victory to another.

Ironically, Russia who invaded California saved 1200G from the Allied coffers as Poland didn’t have to use a middleman to jump to Asia. During normal conditions, Poland would either have to attack Russia and push through their regions or go through the heavily populated California and Japan to reach Asia. To avoid wrecking MPP😒, a third nation, be it Japan, NK or Ireland, would had had to invade California first to pave the road for Poland. The attacks and ultimately the returning of the region would have cost over 3600G, but now when a middleman isn’t necessary, it’ll cost only 2400G. America tips her hat to the generous people of Russia.

Two days ago, North Korea under the influence of a Chinese government took a bunch of Chinese regions, and today they proceeded through Japan and Hawaii. Poland followed and invaded Hawaii and Kyushu, knocking on the door of Asia. Because NK doesn’t have a maritime connection to the mainland of China, they had to go round and invade Jilin, Inner Mongolia and several other inland regions of China. The swappings including Poland will be done through the shorter route, as the region of Shandong borders Liaoning and is only 3 regions away from Poland’s current position. Phoenix will try and delay these swapping by launching RW😒 in the regions conquered by North Korea, but unless they win the presidential elections in North Korea, there is no stopping and Poland will eventually cease a border region with Liaoning, setting the stage for the most legendary battle ever fought.

Poland however doesn’t have an open war with Serbia, so they are probably going to attack some neighboring nation to acquire a chain reaction war. The most logical choice would be attacking UK from the East Coast of America, thus making it possible to launch a 1 vs 1 battle on Liaoning. Other Eden nations might launch harassment attacks, for instance it’d be one of the best chances for Croatia to recapture the region of Slavonia, still held by Serbians.

Croatia’s fate decided at the ballot box tomorrow.

Apparently the forces of Phoenix aren’t going to set to their victory on the field of war, but they intend to eradicate Croatia for good by forcing them on their knees at the ballot box and electing a Serbian shadow government to rule the land. Honestly I don’t see any reason for this kind of behavior. Surely it will be cool for the older folks to boast how they sowed salt on Croatia’s fields and stole their chickens, but new players will not find any joy from that. They won’t find any pleasure from voting a puppet president over and over again and V2 war module has made training wars practically void. Nowadays it needs two fairly equal parties to combat each other so everyone will have enough people to fight with, and if it’s done by two friendly parties, it’s practically killing your friends for entertainment and experience. Hosting simulated invasions between Croatia and Serbia would practically be just Serbians killing Serbians. As exciting thought as it is, it’s not really stimulating for the country as a whole.

However, if Croatia continues to exist, there would always be an enemy to fight against in the future, drawing new players to the game and keeping the interest of the older ones. If Croatia falls, many players might quit or flee to friendly nations like Spain to work and fight Phoenix from aboard. This will leave a void to the Balkan subcontinent and there might be a day in the future when Serbia will miss their dear enemies.

Nothing irreversible has happened yet. We, America, have prepared to help our Croatian allies by hosting a primary election where St Krems received the most votes and therefore shall be elected as president in the real election tomorrow. Until this day we have tried to keep the number of votes as high as possible, as it mirrors directly the activity of our nation. Tomorrow we must do the exact opposite. The less votes Krems receives, the more we have casted in Croatia.

Serbia is known from their high level of organization. When we moved 3000 citizens to protect our iron colony, they moved 11000. However, together we can beat them.
