HH: Sept 2010 Party Elections

Day 1,031, 04:09 Published in Singapore Singapore by lightofsirius

Once again, Singapore has proven it's vigilance against threats to its security. I'm glad to say all who are friends are Party Presidents of their respective parties. It's because of people like Thedark ace and Arbryn who wrote caution in this article that help keep Singapore safe.

In Singapore Republican Party (SRP), between two legitimate candidates, Thedark ace has won. Dubrovnik the PTOer had no votes but his own.

Then in the New Green Party (NGP), Boethiah won. Sinbad89, part of the freak1sh TO group, had not votes.

For Singapore National Union Party (SNUP), all three are legitimate candidates, and Johnnie Danger has won.

Over at Birthday Party (BP), as of writing, investigations are undergoing, freak1sh is PP under game mechanics, but votes are at a tie at which by mechanics, higher exp wins. We'll see after the investigations.

This elections, there were sudden unannounced candidatures. Dubrovnik is the most obvious PTOer, who has 5 congress terms in some God forsaken place, speaking some language. For freak1sh and sinbad89, their testimony is that they are newbies who didn't know better.

Unfortunately, in Singapore's experience, like Sheldon and so many more, there are those who start as a newbie with the intent of taking over Singapore or a party. And it'll be more prudent to be more cautious. However, as seen with AoPS, those who have such intent can be integrated into the community and become a contributor. As such, I'm willing to see how freak1sh and his group can contribute to Singapore as his testimony said.

To all newbies who read this. I cannot stress how important it is to actually tell people that you're running for election. If you are this ghost who comes in, run and hopefully not, win... What are people gonna think? First thought is PTO. Whether or not you came with legitimate intent, that is the image you're gonna be perceived by.

I'm not sure whether we've done this before, but it almost always have been by independent people who call out the PTOers in articles to warn fellow citizens of the threats.

Under this term, besides independent vigilantes, I'm instituting an election board who oversees the elections Singapore goes through which will go under the joint care of the ministries of Security and Immigration. It will look at candidates who have not been acquainted with the community and do a background check on them. If they have not announced their candidature and introduced themselves, the election board will PM them. If they've not replied or announce accordingly within reasonable time, they will be branded as PTO.
