Hey, Remember That Guy? (Pt. 2)

I guess I'll give this concept another go-around... so, welcome to the second installment of my 149,284 part series:

Part 2: Justinious McWalburgson III
Man, I am digging deep into the history bin with this one.
Justinious was the 9th President of the United States, serving from January to February way back in 2009. I remember him most for two distinct things, the first of which is the fact that he was president when I started playing.
Back then the USWP was the largest party in the world (funny how time changes things). His lone term—sandwiched between two of the most blatantly corrupt presidents in eUS history—gave way to political strife from within the party (a fundamental trait of eRepublik that time will never change) and so he left to join the old United Independents Party, where he teamed up with PrincessMedyPi... which is the second thing I remember him for.
His "relationship" with MedyPi was one of the first "power marriages" in a time when players would "marry" each other in a creepy form of internet love. I always found the concept to be absolutely ridiculous and esoterically embarrassing. Does this still happen?
Anyway, Justinious seemingly retired to his newspaper; eventually fading away after a while. And with his departure from the game the New World was down one more emo young adult.

I remember him from waaaay back he was awesome at the time (back then players actually could stand-out), Do people really do the whole online marriage thing? i find that weird tbh.
I forget the big ones, because it's been so long. Dio Maksas married someone and then everyone started going for it.
When I joined, Scrabbers was president.
I remember when Scrabman was president. He was the first to serve three consecutive terms. I remember approaching him about getting involved and he acted like he believed all the crazy lies that were spread by people who hated me.
They actually had a file on me that talked about how I was selling secrets or whatever. It was the very moment that I realized how flimsy and weak their power structure was. I didn't even have access to secrets. Though, years later... I kind of like the idea that a handful of people rose to modest power on the strength of how much shit they could make up about me.
The regime, which is still in force, rose to power by making up unbelievable amounts about many people, some of whom may have provided them with pretexts but many who did not.
Scrab wasn't first the three terms, but he was the first to serve more than three.
Is that right? I guess my history is off. Either way, I remember him being the first since I began to actually take the office seriously, and on a long-term basis.
Scrabman was a good president, though.
We probably gave him a harder time than he deserved, although he did know how to attract such attention.
He leaves a lot of his successors looking poor in comparison.
