Here's to You, South Africa: Stay Strong, Stay Sexy, and Many Thanks to All

Day 531, 16:13 Published in South Africa Sweden by Jizzie McGuire

Greetings my friends and allies. I have served as the president of eSouth Africa for nearly two months now, and after two fruitful, eventful and exciting terms, it is now time for me to step down as leader of this great country. It has been an honor and a privilege to serve and work with you all, and I am grateful for all of the kindness and support I received throughout this time, and for all the great South African and international friends I have made during my time as president. Without all of you, I could have done little as president and we would not be on the road to Liberation as we are now.

I began my first term at the helm of a nation divided politically, physically, and without allies, at the mercy of an apathetic and unmerciful Indonesian Empire. Over the next two months I have watched our nation unite as I have never seen before, while it has gone from an unnoticed backwater in the international scene to a major news story and a magnet for freedom fighters and oppressors alike. I am proud to see all South Africans work as one and for a common goal, regardless of party, while the rest of the world has stood up and taken notice of our people and our plight. We now have the respect and support of many great and powerful nations as has never been seen before in our history, and have inspired people throughout the world that it is honorable to fight tyranny no matter what the odds. Our allies now realize we are for real and our enemies have finally taken notice and either fled the field or quake in fear of in occupied South Africa, too afraid to move. I never expected South Africa to come so far and so fast. That is a testament to the will of South Africans and their ability to work together and with determination in a time of crisis.

There are many people who must be thanked for all their hard work during my terms as president. Gabriel Borien was a key figure in my administration. As Social Affairs Minister, he worked tirelessly with people like Lucien Morjuet, Ines Schumacher and Siroe to educate, employ and increase the wellness of our citizenry. And when my trusted and able DoD head, Brendan Austerion, stepped down, Gabriel assumed the office without hesitation and with great skill. Gabe also began our first official RW in occupied South Africa, helping us to kick off the Liberation War itself. I have been lucky to have such a dependable minister and general like Gabriel working in my administration, and have complete confidence in him to continue my policies with probably even more competence than I as the next president of eSA.

I have to admit that when Zagarius first came here, I thought he was a bit forward and uppity, but as I got to know him, I realized that he was just eager and anxious to get to work for his adopted homeland. After seeing his impressive journalistic skill in action, I appointed him as Minister of Media Affairs at the start of my second term. I thought he could write some fun articles and take some of the more mundane work of PR off my hands so I could focus on building a coalition for war. He did that and more. Not only did Zag (or “Zagnuts” as I affectionately call him) galvanize the people of SA to rise up and come together for our cause, but he also spread the word of South African Liberation to countries around the world. Though my MoFA Bazti and I worked to bring together a coalition for freedom, Zagarius kept the Media machine running here and abroad, simultaneously allowing us to do our jobs while solidifying the support of the people whose governments we were courting. Without Zag, our alliances would be empty shells.

I cannot go any further without mentioning the two unsung heroes of the last two months, Hireshmont Vellos and GM Tarkin. Hireshmont has the misfortune of being the most suspected and maligned official in any administration as MoF. Whenever money is spent or not spent, Hiresy is blamed or suspected of spending too much or hoarding away the country’s cash reserves. In this most unglamorous job, Hireshmont has quietly and diligently worked to build up the eSouth African economy, and has worked with other South African patriots like Boere Generaal to set up trade deals and to bring into our country the resources and supplies we need to keep us safe and strong. Once the war began, he reluctantly, but without question, has acceded to every request I have made for MPPs, RWs and the DoW for the benefit of the war effort. Along with GM Tarkin and Moff Holdings, he was also instrumental in finding ways to bring gold into our treasury before the gold bug was fixed. Tarkin and Vellos worked for hours and several days to ensure that we had the gold on hand to propose the MPPs and fight the RWs we needed to make Liberation possible. They are both worthy of the highest medal a president can bestow on a civilian, The Order of Ikamanga, for their “dignified economic achievement.”

From the other side of the political aisle, our nation probably would not have held together without the unbiased support and activities of FA luminaries like Bazti, Boere Generaal and Jan Olivier. Bazti never once let long-standing political rivalry and our last presidential campaign stand in the way of national progress. He has become a good friend over the last month in particular, and has worked tirelessly to help me build our alliance, especially with nations like eUK, which (along with Spain) was critical in bringing in the support of our numerous other allies. Bazti truly is a lion for South Africa and it has been a pleasure to work with him. I could easily say the same about Boere and Jan. Boere and Hiresh, along with Rico Suave, Gabe and Brendan E Austerion, have worked long and hard to make sure that our troops and our nation are well supplied with weapons and supplies they need to fight and survive, transcending political differences for the good of eSouth Africa. Jan has similarly gone beyond party politics as quite possibly the best Party President the FA has yet seen, uniting the FA behind a BLF president to fight for the greater good of all eSA. As both president and BLF party president, I have much respect for wise old Jan, and I thank him for working so closely with me and without bias for the future of our country and our two parties.

The future of our small and vulnerable nation has for now been secured by a coalition of great powers unprecedented in eSA history, thanks to the efforts of sympathetic world leaders who believe in South African freedom over Indonesian and Brazilian occupation. Along with the unity achieved over the last two months, I believe that this was the most significant accomplishment of my government. First and foremost amongst these nations is the great nation of Spain and her presidents Evighet and Fredy. When no other nation would answer my messages on my first day in office, President Evighet not only responded, but proposed an alliance to take back our country. Throughout my first term, when I could get no help, much less an answer from many nations, Evighet’s support for eSA never wavered. His successor, Fredy, carried on this support unabated and was among the first to sign and MPP and send troops to support our efforts. As I have said before, eSA owes its undying gratitude to the great nation of Spain for its support.

While Spain was the only nation to back eSA unconditionally during my first term, eUK and its honorable MoFA, SaraDroz, was the first to join Spain as an eSA ally at the start of my second term. Unsatisfied with the response given to me by her government initially, Sara made sure that the new eUK government backed eSA freedom with no strings attached. eUK was the first nation to sign an MPP with eSA, and I firmly believe that without this alliance, eSA would likely stand alone today with only Spain to support her in her war against the Indo Empire. That being said, I have nothing bad to say about my friends Presidents Scrabman of the USA (and the US Marines), Bruck of Canada, Miudyk of Poland, Roby Petric of Croatia, and the Romanian MoFA sebahmeh. Your friendship and support for me and eSA has given us the strength and confidence to take back what is rightfully ours and I hope our nations can maintain our alliance for freedom for years to come. PEACE can say what they want to about your intentions and past actions, but the fact is that you are supporting freedom and liberation in South Africa, and that is what matters to us. I would also like to give a shout out to Bunaly, whose botched PTO attempt last month caused South Africans to finally put aside their petty political squabbles and fight as one against an imminent threat as they have never come together before. That PTO attempt proved to me that eSA could and would unite when faced with adversity and in times of trouble.

I also need to thank my old friends Rico Suave, Kiwifire1, Brendan Austerion, Ryan Dagari and the indefatigable Peter D. Banko for loyally standing by and taking on any task asked of them, regardless of how tedious or unrewarding it may have been. All had promised to work loyally and diligently for the Jizzie administrations, and in some cases, offering to follow me to the pits of Hell if necessary. They have done that and continue to do so to this day. Rico, Brendan and my mate Kiwi have quietly worked to strengthen our small military, lacking in both resources and manpower, into a compact and organized force able to defend and attack with determination and efficiency. The Indos laugh at our army’s small size and lack of experience, but without the work of those three men, along with people like Gabe and Boere G., Indonesia and PEACE would be in our capital now, dictating terms to a beaten South Africa, and carrying back the head of a fallen Jizzie McGuire as a war trophy and an example to others who may have considered rising up for their freedom. And then there’s Peter. Poor Judge Banko had worked so hard to fix and re-write our constitution, despite a lack of support and interest in his task. I have not forgotten what you tried to do for us and how thankless your job was. I have much respect for your knowledge, intelligence and the dignity you have shown even though your Ministry was generally neglected and forgotten.

Even more so than Hireshmont, Ryan Dagari has been more controversial and maligned than any other figure I know in eSA. Despite all that, I have always considered him a friend and a most worthy Head of Intelligence. I have always trusted Ryan to do his job with complete objectivity, and have appointed him to the post 3 times (once as VP under ERD), despite protests from inside and outside my party. He is the only person I have appointed 3 times to any post. He has never let me down and I continue to have complete faith in his abilities. Despite our philosophical and political differences, he has never wavered in his support of my administrations, even when our actions went against his own personal beliefs. Perhaps more than anyone else, I respect Ryan's honesty, integrity, and the courage he has shown in politics and in the intel field. A huge thanks and massive props go to Mr. Dagari.

Special thanks also go to Joey the Redd, Siroe, Oceanus, N4ked Sn4ke, Ali Mentary, Steven Bosch, and my nameless Brazilian friend, who have not only been good friends and supporters of eSA freedom, but have also provided my administration with intelligence and diplomatic information that has been crucial to our survival and the war effort. I cannot forget our banned comrades, Elizabeth Engels and Chris Boatman, who may have broken some eR laws, but were always good friends and staunch supporters of mine. Finally, I cannot forget those who brought me here and who co-founded the BLF with me way back in July: Deus Ex, Esteban Delgado, Leif Archaix and Moskon Du Robespierre - without you, none of this would have been possible (especially Deus). You are gone but not forgotten, old comrades.

As my term has come to an end, I must now bring this final article as president to an end. If you have read this far, thank you for taking the time to read my laundry list of thank yous! I have been proud to serve this great country and hope that some day I can come back and lead her through better times as a whole and unified nation once again. Until then, I will set out to fight alongside my mate Kiwi against the enemies of freedom and eSA, whether here at home or abroad, as the evil empire is beaten back by our noble allies. I hope to continue serving eSA both in a military capacity and in an advisory role for any president who needs me. Like I said, I have made many friends both here and abroad as president, and I hope to continue and cultivate those friendships so that together we can reach even greater heights on the world stage.

Thank you for the opportunity to serve you not once, but twice, South Africa. I have been humbled by the enormous support you and our international friends have shown me, and it is with a heavy heart that I step down as your president. This is not a farewell, as I will remain an eSouth African even if I travel abroad, but until we meet again, my friends, goodbye for now and as always, stay sexy.
