Here Comes Colombia

Day 658, 02:27 Published in USA Philippines by Leannonn Elrinndael

Colombia is at the US doorstep. They took a walk through Mexico last night and now they can attack California, Arizona, New Mexico or Texas from Northwest of Mexico. I suppose they're just waiting for the right moment. Although they also need a war declaration which is in the Congress at the moment (thanks clawy) or maybe an attack on a country which has an MPP with US which would automatically start a war now that there's a common border. We'll see what happens next.

Colombia

As for yesterday's battles, PEACE had no success at all. Hungarians knocked themselves out in the battle of Idaho (-627k), although there was a RW there ending before that battle which US won with the help of allies. The same Hungarians (but obviously not enough of them) tried to prevent the RW in the last ten minutes. All they managed was to get the wall up to -4k, after which it only went down and the battle ended at -24k. They could have really used the foolishly spent 627k here. Kansas is in US hands too, after another successful RW, and they also won two direct battles against Russia: Oklahoma (-197k) and South Dakota (-241k).

As we speak, battles for Colorado (-83k) and Nebraska (-218k) are being fought and there's also an RW (+5k) there. The Canadians opened a RW (+133k) and also attacked Saskatchewan (+200k), shortly after the attack on Montana (+222k).

USA

France has no more regions in Spain - Valencian Community fell to a RW yesterday which went right to the wire. The battle was scheduled to end right after the Idaho RW, so the Spaniards had little help from the allies and the wall stood at +55k just five minutes before time. A minute later the Spanish unleashed all they got and the wall went below the `Secure` line to +19k in the next 4 minutes. The battle enters extra time, but there's just one side in it - two minutes later the wall is underground and the battle ends at -7k. Spain needs just two more regions to complete their `Reconquista`. There are no new battles for the moment and it remains to be seen if they'll use the same strategy against Brazil.

Spain

Moldavia has liberated two more territories yesterday and now controls all of its original regions. They've also signed MPPs with both Romania and Ukraine.

Hungarians admitted they've hacked the account of the former president of Romania, but they're not telling who did it, although they seem to approve of it - they say the password was not strong enough and that a country president who chooses such a weak password should face the consequences. A load of rubbish in my opinion - a hack is a hack, whatever the password and there's no honor in that. All in all, the battle for Northern Great Plain will not be restarted and the war between Romania and Hungary will be rolled back to the state before the incident.

Until tomorrow.

Take care,
Leannonn
