Join the new world

Hello there, normally I write longer articles than this (that and with more sensible and calm manner), and I apologize for the shortness of this introduction, but I am Myung Kei, and I am deeply honored to meet the citizens of Austria. As a move of my sincerity, a small band of souls similar to my own moved here, to Austria to help out with the rebuilding of the country. One of those people is JaFe, now the present MoF of Austria, and I wish him good luck in serving the country well and working towards restoring financial stability in the government. (Also, we ❤ you Rangeley! 😃 )

So, let me describe the future relationship between in the following equation:











Congress Platform:

Well, the Congress elections are coming up, and I decided that I would "throw my hat into the ring" for candidate in the likely 10 seat congress for this November-December. My platform is under the normal Osterreich Independence Party (OIP) banner, but with a few modifications of my own:

-To remain active in Congress and on the Forums

-To encourage open Congressional debate on important topics on the Forum (linked to Forum activity)

-To help and build a consensus on dealing with Austria's current economic problems...and sponsor the required legislation if necessary.

-To encourage activity-driving....activities such as the Austrian media award.

-To not be a PTO! o/

And there you have it. I rather apologize for its lack of flamboyant style and funny graphics flying across the screen.

People v.s. Rangeley: Courtroom Drama

And now, some funny serious business.



Yesterday night, in the search for a laugh, Mr. Rangeley, a several term former minister and president, was accused on one count of attempted murder against citizen Yonai Keiko. The prosecutor claimed that when Rangeley and Yonai confronted one another in an IRC chat in a rather joking manner, Rangeley cast the spell "Lumos" from his wand, which prompted Yonai Keiko to cast back "Avada Kedavra" (Harry Potter reference if anyone cares) in self defense. The spell missed, and then several random things happened....which lead to the charge of also one count of attempted ferdre murder (have no idea what that is).

Also, Rangeley was accused of one count of blasphemy against the Sun King of South Korea, for claiming "the moon children have already won".

So after a bit of back and forth, yours truly became the president judge over the case in the IRC rizon.net chat room #court.

After what was said and done over four hours, the jury decided that Rangeley was not guilty on all but the charge of blasphemy, for which the jury found him guilty. As punishment, Rangeley paid a ridiculously small fine and was forced to issue a half-hearted apology.
