Happy New Year everyone!

Day 1,869, 08:22 Published in Philippines Philippines by Vincenzo Roque

Just a few hours ago, we bid good bye to 2012 and said hello to 2013, and I think the best way to start the year is to do it with generosity. (This is also my late Christmas present to you)

Here's how:

I'm planning on publishing 13 questions from now until January 13 (one question per day) with each question needing the answer from the previous question (You will hopefully understand this in the next questions). Of course, the questions will be of increasing difficulty.

For correctly answering questions x ∈ {1,...,n}, where n is an integer between 1 and 13 inclusive, I will give you 2^(n-1) CC, i.e. for correctly answering question 1, you will get 1 CC, for correctly answering questions 1 and 2, you will get 2 CC, for correctly answering questions 1, 2 and 3, you will get 4 CC, for correctly answering questions 1 to 4, you will get 8 CC, etc. Therefore, you can get as much as 4096 CC price.

This giveaway is open to all citizens of the New World but as as a bonus to my countrymen, I will double their prizes.

The deadline for all the answers will be on 23:59 Jan 17 Day 1881 of the New World. You can send them to me through PM. I will be distributing the prizes after the deadline.

To start it off, here's the first question.
FIRST QUESTION
What year is supposedly the end of the world according to the misinterpretations of the Mayans' calendar?

For the second question, read this.
For the third question, read this.
For the fourth question, read this.
For the fifth question, read this.
For the sixth question, read this.
For the seventh question, read this.
For the eighth question, read this.
For the ninth question, read this.
For the tenth question, read this.
For the eleventh question, read this.
For the twelfth question, read this.
For the thirteenth question, read this.

Good luck!
If you have more questions on the mechanics of this giveaway, just PM me and I'll try my best to answer.

Last year, I also executed a giveaway like this, but with different mechanics. You can check it out here. Don't worry! The questions this year wouldn't all be as hard as the questions then.

Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year,

Vincenzo Roque
