Halakha Party (formerly United eIsrael Party)

Day 819, 03:27 Published in Israel Israel by Leroy Bloodshed

As the newly elected Party President of the formly named United eIsraeli Party, thank you party members for your votes of confidence, it is with great joy to honor Jews from around the globe by renaming our political organization Halakha Party - literal translation is "the path" or "the way of walking"

Hala...what? Historically, Halakha served many Jewish communities as an enforceable avenue of civil and religious law. In the modern era, Jewish citizens may be bound to Halakha only by their voluntary consent. Under contemporary Israeli law, however, certain areas of Israeli family and personal status law are ruled according to Halakha.

Hala...huh? Halakha constitutes the practical application of the 613 mitzvot (commandments) in the Torah, (the five books of Moses, aka "Written Law&quot😉, the Mishnah and the Talmud (the "Oral law&quot😉, and Shulchan Aruch (Jewish "Code of Law".)

The Halakha is a comprehensive guide to all aspects of human life, both corporeal and spiritual. Its laws, guidelines, and opinions cover a vast range of situations and principles, in the attempt to realize what is implied by the central Biblical commandment to "be holy as I your God am holy".

Halakha is developed and applied by various halakhic authorities, rather than one sole "official voice". Halakha has been developed and pored over throughout the generations since before 500 BCE, in a constantly expanding collection of religious literature consolidated in the Talmud. First and foremost it forms a body of intricate judicial opinions, legislation, customs, and recommendations, many of them passed down over the centuries.

So what your saying is? It is my ultimate goal to see that this party transforms into the political organization that shows Israel the "path" and produces the leadership that "walks" our nation to prosperity.

What are your parties political views? This will be announced at a later time and date after party members have had an opportunity to express their thoughts.

What can you announce? We will be joining United Zionist Socialist Party, Consolidation Party, Israeli Workers Party and the Free Democratic Party to form the National Unity League. This is very exciting as all parties will join the UZSP forums (which will become the NUL forums) which will become a central location where coalition members can discuss the issues that face our country.

What's your party symbol? It's the Star of David in which contains the Twelve Tribes of Israel

Everyone has an open invitation to join the Halakha Party http://www.erepublik.com/en/party/halakha-party-2412/1 in creating a better Israel, a better future and a path on which we'll stroll to success. Keep an eye out for a follow up article which will be following shortly.
