Hai there Americans, AGAIN!

My last article got deleted, expressly, by the higher powers. Therefor i have decided to edit it a bit.

Fighting the prejudice with prejudice

What we got here is...a failure to communicate. It is difficult not to notice the level of prejudice of the American public towards Serbia, specially after the Emerick's efforts in the last 6 months or so. It is also difficult to break prejudice, often futile and not very rewarding. Therefore i suspect that most of my countrymen turned to another method, using the prejudice against you. Let us not mention the remarks made in that spirit. I d rather have my article avoid the moderation this time.

You may ask where am i getting with this? I ll try to break some of those misconceptions you have, as figthing an unworthy opponent is not fun at all. It is innevitable that our two nations will clash one on one in Asia, sooner or later. It is much more thrilling knowing that you are fighting against a worthy adversary. Victory hypothetical as it is for you becomes sweeter, and almost ceirtain defeat more bearable.

Lets see,
about a year ago we were a tiny country under brutal military and political occupation. Baby killing fake factories, insanly high minimum wage, undisclosed amount of stolen currency, ubearable situation in our media with the enemies mass trolling on every article (a lot of RL frustration bursted out there, as we were quite acquainted with those trolls), and so on.
Six months ago we were a free country. One of the top ten in the eWolrd, and already much stronger then our previous occupiers have been.
Right now we are one of the 3 Superpowers in the game.

How did we manage that? Through good gaming spirit, persistancy, organization, planing.
Baby booms dont just happen randomly. A lot of effort is required to make one, and even more to make it a successful one with keeping all those babies interested in the game and to get them to work on the common national goals. You should know, considering your very low survival rate of newcomers.
Conquest of one of the scarse High Iron regions, specially one on the other side of the globe, in this complex geopolitical situation we are in, is ceirtanly an achievement on its own and a just reward for all the effort of planing and organizing such an action.
Maintaining the most numerous Army of the eWorld is a task for itself.
Developing and bulding up the state systems is quite a task as well, providing you want it to be functional, not dependant on the administration changes, and as elaborate as possible in order to meet it citizens demands and expectations. I may be subjective, but after a year of game experience i am yet to see a eNation which got so far in building up its state systems.

I m not saying that we are perfect, far from it. And it would be fair to say that we had good allies from which we could learn and cooperate with. But seeing that most eCountries are on a very basic level of developement, with classic MMO "clans&guilds" syndrome, i guess we accomplished a lot.
Imperare sibi maximum imperium est. (Seneca) "To rule yourself is the ultimate power."

As for "our" (you dont really believe that we all share the same?) sense of humour, it gets lost in translation sometimes. Most people just translate their thoughts, from their native language to English, and it can sound a bit crude. What matters is that the message is carried through and understood. You see, considering that we are quite far from any country that uses English as its mother language, and that we dont get to practise our English moreoften, i d say we are quite adept at it. Specially if you take into account that even your own people dont handle their mother language very good.

Alright then, i m sure glad we cleared that up! Now you can start trembling in fear.

Ceterum autem censeo, Croatia esse delendam.
