Day 3,036, 09:28 Published in USA USA by Department of Citizen Affairs

Party Presidential Elections are approaching on 15th of this term and that date is one of three occasions when the activity of the whole country goes double. But a lot of newbs might not know how the PP system works in eRepublik, ofcourse everyone knows what a Party President is. Lets try to explain the PP mechanics.

Party President

Party President is the party member who is elected by his fellow party members on 15th of every month to lead the party. (S)He normally rules over the whole party for a month with a group of people who somewhere are known as Officers, or Party Cabinet, or Party Page Peeps or else where are known as RC members.

One point is emphasized in all that, PP leads the party for whole month and until he dont screw up real bad, the party members agree with and supports their party administration.

Wanna Run?

But, there are some conditions which you have to fulfill to run for Party President, its just formality, pretty much everybody can run for PP.

So here's the conditions:

1) You must be a member of the party.
2) Sign up by 23:59 in the 14th of the month.
3) Have an experience level of at least 16 (200 Experience points).

That sounds really simple, right? But some parties threw in precaution so no nilly willy becomes the PP, named Party President Primary. Its meta-related where a shadow election takes place on date prior to PP elections so only winner runs for PP. Its mostly to prevent PTO occurring in PP elections.

POWERS

Party Presidents has a lot of power, well not that lot. But apart from ruling common party members, positioning congress candidates on 24th, selecting a CP candidate and feeling self-importance, they dont do much work.

Here's the copy/paste from wiki:

The president of the party has the following features enable😛

1) Edit the party details
2) Assign Titles to the Party Members
3) Select who will run for Congress from party. (See Manage congress candidates)
4) Select who will represent party in the presidential elections. (See Country President Elections)
5) Resign from this position (the member with the highest amount of experience points will replace him)

Thats pretty much everything you need to know about PPs and their elections.
