Guerrila Fight closed beta is here!

So in the past couple of weeks we've been informed that some changes in eRepublik will be taking place.

The first of these changes has already been released, the map. There are still some changes to be released like ingame alliances, some upgrades to the military units, the so waited fix to the economy module and the reason of this article, the new mode of the war module. The Guerrilla Fight.




But, what is this Guerrilla fight?

After a few kills in a normal fight, you'll be given the option (If you don't like it, just ignore it 😃) to join the PvP module. This mode will let you fight face to face with enemy soldiers in real time.

It'll cost 100 of your energy to join the PvP module and the player that wins the fight will generate influence in their side's favor. The winner will also have the chance to do some looting on the loser's inventory in order to steal some weapons. Not gold neither cc.

You will have a little less than 30 seconds to make each move.



As you can see in the image, for this mode you can fight, defend or move (Depending on the weapon, some may be more effective at certain distance than others). Also you'll have the possibility to use a variety of weapons and equipment (not the plain old q7 weapons) which will be supposedly available for purchase directly from Plato.

Summarizing:

In order to participate, you must have at least 100 of energy, an enemy online, and items on your inventory.

But these are old news, we already know that...

Plato sent me a message, informing me that I'll be part of the closed beta. It'll take place on Tuesday, the 26th of February.

So PvP is almost here, I'll be updating as soon as I get my hands on it 🙂.
