Growing eIndia - The "Invite your friends" Challenge

It's been a while since I last wrote an article - 358 days, to be exact. And now, I have returned during one of the most active months in eIndian history. So far this week, 53 individual people have applied for weapons in the Army program. Now, that may not seem like a big deal to other countries, but to a country like eIndia, that's progress. But it's time to raise that number. And all of you can help.

Invite your Friends Challenge

Past baby-boom tactics have failed, but perhaps the reason they were ineffective was because the goal was too high. So this time, how about we start at the roots? Instead of aiming for hundreds of citizens at once, let's aim to bring each new citizen up one at a time.

Do you know a friend who's in to online games? Do you know someone who might enjoy eRepublik? Well, help eIndia, and invite them to the game! You can invite your friends any number of ways:

-Facebook
-Twitter
-Texting
-Face to face

My challenge to all of you is this: Invite at least 10 of your friends this month. Imagine if all 53 of the currently active citizens invited 10 friends. That would be 500 new citizens. And even if only 1 out of every 10 decided to stick around and become active, that would be 50 new citizens, and 50 new soldiers for our military! And then the cycle would go on and on!

Remember to talk to your friend. I was a new citizen once, and in fact, I quit the first time I joined. The only reason I came back was the curiosity factor. For new citizens, this game is incredibly confusing. So be sure to explain to them how it works, because once they get the hang of it, they'll most certainly want to stick around and help eIndia become an empire.

If you personally invite your friends, you'll be able to help them individually, and get them through the tough beginning phase that we all went through. And don't forget about the rewards!
