Grimstone and Mr. Wet for the Presidency

Hi South Africa,

I am happy to announce that the Independent Alternative Party has asked me to run as their country presidential candidate in the upcoming elections. I have accepted this honour and have formally entered the presidential race with my running mate Mr. Wet under the Independent Alternative banner.

I have asked Mr. Wet to be my running mate in this campaign. I believe he brings a different dynamic to the table and would be a great learning curve for him. I am very excited to be working with him and we will be focused on the tasks at hand

I am not going into details about my credentials or ability to lead the country. I would hope that my previous terms as country president speak for themselves. I’m sure that all of you know that I put the country first and don’t do this for personal gain. We are currently at war and on the verge of being wiped off the map. We have all worked hard on rebuilding the country and in all honesty, I would not like to see our country wiped.

I am not going to follow the conventional route of a manifesto but rather say that should I be elected that I will be concentrating on our foreign policies as well as trying to get a peace treaty signed between eSA and Brazil. I will also be attempting to restore negotiations between eSA and Brazil. One of our ex Presidents, Krimpie wisely said “that it is not in our best interests to have an enemy on our doorstep”. I have to agree with that statement. We as a nation have made our mistakes, but will not lay the blame on anyone. There were many contributing factors that lead us to where we are today. I hope to get us back into the position where we do not have to worry about being attacked and that we can live as a peaceful nation.

Some people may not agree with my views, but at the end of the day it’s not all about my views, it’s about the entire nations views of what is best for eSA . I peronsally feel this is the best for eSA. If you support my views, I ask that you show it by voting Grimstone on 5th May 2011.

My fellow candidates Tenshibo and Prometuesz has also announced their candidacy. I believe Tenshibo would make a good president as he is a very level headed person.
