Greetings my fellows Macedonians

Day 1,811, 00:14 Published in North Macedonia Argentina by FitoEleven

Well, I been in this eCountry for almost 2 month, and I never introduce myself to this community, although I talk to some of you on IRC.

I came from eBolivia, in RL I'm from Argentina, and in this article I want to show you pictures of my city, Buenos Aires.

I'm very proud to be from this city, is not only the capital of Argentina, but also is a cultural reference of LatinAmerica and the whole world.

In this city many important figures lived leaving their tracks, people like Jorge Luis Borges, Juan Manuel Fangio, and Eva Peron.

In the heart of the city is "El Obelisco", monument raise where the Argentian flag was flamed in Buenos Aires for the first time

Buenos Aires got a distinctive music and dance, the Tango. The lyrics of this music usually are sad and lonesome, telling storys about a man who just lost everything and is on the edge, or that her woman just left him.

Curious fact: Because of the "lust" in the dance, Catholic Church oppose to this dances in the beginings of 1900.

The architecture of Buenos Aires is also very distintive, diferent from the rest of LatinAmerica, mostly because it always try to imitate Paris. Most of the traditional families in 1830 usually got to Paris, and stay for several months, with in time, they start bringing architecs from Paris to build their houses.
Also Buenos Aires rapidly became a city with a lot of European inmigration, specially from Spain and Italy

The Italians that arrived to Buenos Aires settled in what is known La Boca. In this neighborhood, the start building their home whe everything the can get, using mostly materias from ships, due to the fact that La Boca is next to the river.

Today La Boca is one of Buenos Aires turist hot spots

This neighborhood is also the home of the world known football team Boca Jr

The Bombonera Stadium

The clasic rival of Boca is also in Buenos Aires... River Plate

The Monumental (River Stadium), also this is the stadium where the Argentina National team plays most of its local games.

As the capital of the country, most of our federals representatives work in Buenos Aires, the presidency works in "La Casa Rosada", this means the pink house (like the white house in USA, but ours is Pink) 😛

In the period between 1860-1880 there were 2 important political parties that didn't get along, their colors where one red, and the other white, so president Sarmiento, decide to paint the house pink as a signal of peace

Argentinian congress

Well this was just something to introduce my country, and myself to the Macedonian community, I hope you like it

Next post issue: Culture in Buenos Aires
