Starting tomorrow (Day 2,282), the level requirements of each division will be changed in the following fashion:
Please note that:
- You can now see your division in the profile page
- You will now be informed with an alert when progressing to the next division
- Rocket Factory will NOT be affected by this update. Unlock requirements will be on the same levels as before (Q1: lvl1, Q2: lvl25, Q3: lvl30, Q4-Q5: lvl37)
eRepublik will have a maintenance of approximately 10 minutes on Day 2,282 at 0:00 eRepublik time. The ongoing battles will be stopped until the maintenance is over. If your division changes at day change and you have done damage in a battle, the damage will remain in the old division and won’t transfer to the new one.
So from tomorrow my Rocket factory will be useless (50 000 vs 250 000).
I guess today is the last time this year for me to try to get a battle hero? Oh but maybe I should gain 2000 xp and then upgrade my factory, but that will weaken me even further? Probably best to do your daily order now and get you bazooka every day? Need 47 000 xp to get to next division and if I gain 50 per day then I will only get to the next division in about 30 months.
Good luck to the government officials who have to work this one out. Thank god I was on holiday when the government positions were advertised.

Almost everyone in DIV1-3 goes to DIV1 and DIV4 gets devided over DIV2-4. Wonder why?
New players have to compete with some titans, hooray. I'm DIV 3 player, but absolutely not satisfied with this anyway.

For you indeed! But he is talking about the youngsters, currently in D1 you can directly start the hunt with your bazooka's. That is completely out of the question after this update.

I can not upgrade my rocket factory till level 25, until then my rockets will do 50000 damage, whilst all the new (old) D1 joiners will have rocket factories that will do 250 000 damage or even more if the D1 player is over level 30. Pretty crap really as I will now have no more chance for a BH.

Anyways, guess I'm going back in 2click for a month or 2 to get back on top again.
Rocket factories were already useless, amount of rockets needed for a BH in D1 already had a cost equal or higher than the BH gold rewards. In D2/3 you can't even produce that many rockets to win a BH, let alone breaking even.
So if they don't rework it, you can throw the idea of building a RF out of the window just like before.
This is not true rocket factories also help you rank up and get true patriot medals. At one stage I was building rockets for 110 nl each. They have helped me get many BH without picking up too many XP points.
You don't get rank points from rockets. And how many rockets do you normally need for a BH and how often do you succeed when you try?
You are correct about the TP though. However, as the needed damage for another medal increases, you need more and more and more rockets for one medal.
Sometimes one sometimes two sometimes three and a couple of bazookas, but that's history after tomorrow.

It seems you have to pay more on average than you earn with it.
Does this update mean my strength training was worthless? I'm practically almost D2 again anyway.
This still makes you stronger, however BH are now very very far away for beginner players, so it may not be so important to worry about gaining xp, it will probably be better for them to participate in the tournaments and do their daily orders for the bazooka each day.
I'm thinking just DO for energy bars. I'm very close to D2 anyway that it won't matter how much I str train.
currently Zooka's are pretty useless in D2 already, that will be even more of a problem for the future D1 as we get the bigger part of current D3 in the new D1 as well...

So much for trying to get a last day early morning battle hero, the average cost of a medal already exceeds 500 000.
Count on an average of over 2 million now. In D2 its around 1,2 mio and in current D3 i guess around 3 mio.
Yep I can not do that kind of damage, so I am pretty screwed. Will have to try to get a lucky one at 6 am when Europe sleeps.
