שלומות אי ישראל. יש לי הרבה לומר , ואני מקווה שאתם תקחו את הזמן ותקראו את הכל.



בחמישי לספטמבר חגגתי דבר יפיפה. 4 שנים של משחק במשחק הזה במדינה המגניבה שיש. בספטמבר החמישי 2009 , אני זוכר בברור שהייתי משועמם , וחיפסתי מוצא דרך האינטרנט. זכרתי שאח שלי אמר משהו על משחקי אסטרטגיה ברשת , אז התחלתי לחפס כאילה בגוגל. אחרי כמה אתרים שהצצו , ובדקתי את כולם. כולם נראו, די ... עלובים. ואז המשחק החמישי או השישי היה אירפבליק , משחק אסטרטגיה , עולם חדש אז הקלקתי על זה , רק כדי לראות מזה.

העולם שנכנסתי אליו היה הרבה יותר ממה שרציתי מהמשחק.

בעולם שבו , אתה יכול ליהיות כל מה שתרצה , הייתי נשיא , סגן נשיא(מספר פעמים) , מנכ"ל עשקים משלי , חבר קונגרס , חייל , שר , מנהל של סוכנות ריגול ועוד הרבה ה , הרבה יותר.

זה כמעט חיים יותר מדי טובים שהיו לי כאן , התיידדתי אם כל כך הרבה חברים מכל העולם. מישראל , אנגליה , פולין , ספרד , קנדה , ושוב יותר מדי מקומות בשביל הרשימה. אני אמריקאי , אני גאה בזה , אבל במשחק הייתי גאה להיות חלק מהעולם , והאנשים שחיים בו. יש לנו את הדבר היפיפה הזה שנקרה תקווה.

תקווה מה שמניעה אותנו בחיים האמיתיים. תקווה לעשות דברים גדולים בעולם האמיתי. היא מאפשרת לחלום. ולפעמים אנו חושבים .....




אנחנו יכולים לעשות את זה.

בזמן האחרון דיברתי אם אדם שגם הוא משחק כבר 4 שנים , חברי הטוב קומוניסטה , ואנחנו דיברנו על החיים , על הזמן שלנו כאן , על דברים כלליים. כחברים . זה הגיעה בשיחה שלנו כשדיבנו אעל העבודות שלנו(לאילו שלא יודעים קומוניסטה הוא ארכיטקט) :

ואז הפסקתי וחשבתי על זה קצת זמן , ובקנות , זה למה שאנחנו משחקים משחקים כאילו. היכולת לצאת מהמציאות שבה רובנו לא יכולים להיות נשיאים , מכל"ים או חיילים . בשביל רבים זה רק עוד יום בעבודה , בבית הספר או משהו אחר . אז אנחנו באים למשחקים ברשת , מצמיחים את הקנפיים שלהו וסוף סוף משחררים את הרעיונות , המחשבות והרגשות שלנו לעולם אחר . וזאת מציאות אדירה . בלי כל מחשבה ( בשביל רוב הזמן ) אנחנו יכולים לבטא את עצמנו בכל דרך שנרצה.



ועכשיו , 4 שנים לאחר מיכן , אני חייב להגיד שלום למשחק הזה שהיה כל כך הרבה כיף , כל כך הרבה זמן. החיים האמיתיים שלי לוקחים יותר מדי זמן ועכשיו מגיעה החלתה קשה מאוד לפרוש מהמשחק . זאת הייתה החלתה קשה , פשוט בגלל שהאנשים שפגשתי והדברים שעשיתי פה עזרו לי לא רק במשחק , אני אוהב לחשוב שבצורה מסויימת הם השפיעו על החיים האמיתיים שלי

אז איפה אני עומד ? כשחקן הפעיל הותיק ביותר של ישראל ( לפחות פעיל מספיק) ראיתי אותה נכבשת , כובשת ונלחמת , אני רוצה לומר :

תודה לכם.

תודה לכולכם , נתתים לי בארבע שנים האחרונות צחוקים , כיף , שמחה , עצה , חברות , אהבה , ונאמנות . ראיתי את אי ישראל גודלת ממדינה תינוקת לשרק השתחררה מטורקיה למדינה גדולה , חזקה , עצמאית ושיכולה לדאוג להצמה . זאת הייתה חבייה.

כבחרתי מדינה , יכלתי לבחור בארה"ב מספר האנשים עצר אותי מלבחור במדינה האמיתית שלי ובחרתי באחרת. ראיתי שישראל שזאת מדינה אם יחסים טובים אם ארה"ב בחיים האמיתיים . יש רק כ800 אזרחים באותו זמן זה נראה כמו המקום המושלם

וזה היה.

אז , אני אשאר כאן לבערך שבוע ועשיים כמה דברים פיננסים(כולם יעברו למדינה כמובן ... אני שמרתי את הכל בשביל !) אני עוזב אתכם אם זה - תודה על הכל , אני תמיד אזקור - אתם לא צריכים רק את המשחק כדי לעשות דברים בעולם האלטרנתיבי . תעשו את זה גם בעולם האמיתי , בגלל שהעולם צריך אתכם יותר ממה שאתם חושבים שהו.

Greetings eIsrael. I have a lot to say, and I hope you do take the time to read it all.



On September 5, I celebrated a beautiful thing. 4 years of playing this game in the greatest eCountry there is. On September 5, 2009, I distinctly remember being pretty bored, and looked for an outlet on the internet. I remember my brother saying something about Online Strategy Games, so I typed in such on google. A few sites came up, and I checked them out. All of them looked pretty, well...lame. And then the fifth or sixth choice, was eRepublik- New World Strategy Game! I decided to click it, just to see what it what hold.

The world I entered has given me more than I could have ever asked for out of a game.

In a world where, you can do anything and be anyone, I've been a President, a Vice President (multiple times!), a CEO of my own business, a lifetime Congressmen, a soldier, a Minister, a Director of a Spy Agency, and much, much more.

It is almost too much of a good life I've spent on here, making so many friends from all over the world. From where else do I make friends from Israel, the UK, Poland, Spain, Canada, again, too many things to list. I'm an American, and proud of it, but this game also made me proud to be apart of Earth, and all the people that live on this planet. We have this beautiful thing called hope.

Hope is what drives us in real life. Hope to do great things in the real world. To go, dare, dream, and discover. And sometimes, we think ..



We can't do it.

I recently spent some time talking with someone who also is coming u on their 4th anniversary, my great long-time friend k0munista, and we chatted about life, our time here, and general things. Just as friends. This came up in our conversation, as we talked about our jobs (for those of you that don't know, k0mu is an architect):

[2😇9:35] Your influences, thoughts, all go into a piece of art

[2😇9:51] and your creation hopefully becomes what we all could wish- reality


And I stopped and thought about it afterwards some more, and honestly, that's why we play these games. It's an ability to get out of the reality where many of us can't be Presidents, CEOs, or soldiers. For many, it is another day of work, schooling, or something else. So we come to an online game, and we spread our wings under a presumed alias and give our true feelings and ideas to another world. And that's really awesome. Without judgement (for the most part!) we can express ourselves in whatever way we wish.



And now, four years later, I have to say goodbye to the game that has been a spot of enjoyment for so long. My real life has taken over to much of my time, and now it comes to the point where I make the remarkably difficult decision to retire from the game. It was a difficult one, simply due to the fact that the people and things I've done here have helped me not jut in-game, but I'd like to think that in some way it has influenced me in real life.

So where do I stand? My last few words to a nation that now has me as its oldest active (well, active enough 😉) member, that I've seen occupied, occupying, bickering, and reigning. Only two words can ever come to mind.

Thank you to all of you, from 2009-2013, that have given me laughs, joy, happiness, counsel, companionship, love, and trust. I've seen eIsrael grow from a baby country just breaking free of eTurkey when I was in the Israeli Progressives Party (what's that, right?) to a full fledged nation, strong, independent, and capable of looking after itself. It's been a ride.

When choosing what country to come to, I could have easily picked the USA. The number that stopped me from choosing my true country was the amount of citizens. There were thousands. I looked over to Israel as a place that has great relations with America in real life. It was 800-something at the time. It seemed like the perfect spot.

And it was.

So, as I remain here for a little less than a week and deal out my financial business (all going to the State of course...I've saved up for you!) I leave you with this- Thank you for everything, and always remember- you don't just need the game to do great things in an alternate world. Do it in the real world, too. Because it needs you more than you think it does.
