im confused, i dont get how leaving an alliance that has changed is bad.

Americans and Bulgarians bossing smaller nations around is not what CoT stood for in the past and is from what i hear a big reason as to why NZ is leaving.

NZ leaving CoT wont change who it is, infact its likely to make it stronger, this isnt a move to secure regions or anything like that but to leave an abusive relationship.

i for one Applaud NZ for doing it, Aus knows what this is like. we left EDEN in the same manner

We left CoT because there are too many old allies joining TWO. I for one will not fight against old allies for old enemies... it just won't happen. Call me old fashioned or whatever, but I know who my friends are, and I will always fight for the countries I choose to. Being neutral will make it easier for this to happen.

Anyway, I don't see anyone getting bossed around, but I am sad to see you go. I'm proud of what eNZ has accomplished with only 400 citz and about 100 who are truly active. We do big things 🙂 I wish you the best wherever you go Sorena o7

P.S. About "Serbians bossing" you need to make some beter observation, we left CoT when Tasmyn is president (she is RL NZ) and this is her decision (other cabinet members agreed, but it is still her decision).

The reason behind leaving CoT is the percentage of serbs in this country (which I’m not saying that’s a bad thing) .They can’t follow their orders because CoT is in war with TWO ! An alliance is supposed to give you orders , that’s why it’s made . that’s why we’re in an alliance to be 1 group . It’s like in a football team , everyone does whatever they want to and not care about the coach. We had representative in CoT before . I remember we had SG too . If we don’t anymore , who’s fault is that ? the active govt people in this country ! Why when I was president , we had full respect and help from CoT ? even after me president got to be SG !
When you don’t respect your alliance , you can’t be respected back by them .

As fighting for old enemies and against new friends . That’s your choice , but not the country . You can’t rule a country by your own choices .

There's two options:
1) You don't have idea what are you writing. (most likely)
2) CoT Charter changed a lot from time you have been a CP of NZ.
You didn't influence in CoT to give us SG position, cause in alphabet order, each month two CoT member state are proposing their candidate for SC position, which is not case in last few months, cause it seems that Bulgarians like to rule it alone, and they propose bulgarian candidate every month through different member states, if you are active and all-knowing like you said you would surely know that. And by the way can you explain me who are our oldest friends? U.S, germany, russia or macedonia or serbia, spain UK etc.

Have you been paying any attention to happenings in CoT during the last few months? CoT is no longer the same alliance that we worked to found and develop. I would prefer to secede and rely on our local regional relationships than have to be subservient to larger members and their warmongering behaviour.

At least for me, this is much less about pandering to national bias and more about being true to the intentions behind the foundation of CoT: equal and fair treatment for all members, and a focus on defensive action as the military priority.
