Goodbye Ireland

Day 2,955, 21:03 Published in Ireland Ireland by Sweet Drinker

Tracking the eIrish population used to be an ordeal. Now days we don't even fill the top 100 slots of our own overall national damage chart. How convenient.

We should assume to have missed some players. There are also some living eIrish citizens with unproven activity. But the total charted population is slightly higher than our last voter turnout. It should be fairly reliable.
This chart also assumes presence of active foreign nationals in eIrish MU's insignificnt (ie: prolly few & be a pain in the ass to quantify cba).
Players should not be appraised on military contribution alone. However its undeniably important.

96 players total were verified recent active eIrish citizens. 83 recently enough to be represented on last week's damage charts.
In the image below: yellow OUT MU flagged citizens have elected to join the MU of another nation, red LOST flagged citizens have elected to no longer be eIrish, unflagged remain eIrish members of eIrish MUs.

17 of eIreland's 96 players were lost outright: -18%

The impact on Division 1 is alarming. 3 of the top 5 hitters were lost among others, including a D1 supertank who ranked 5th in OVERALL national damage. Approximately 90% of last week's D1 eIrish damage is gone. I do not wish to discourage the other D1 players, however a single D1-inhibitor tank may be able to defeat our nation in D1 across an entire campaign. We can only hope there are unknown sleeper soldiers waiting in our ranks. Meanwhile 4 of eItaly's current top11 D1 fighters emigrated from eIreland. Perhaps more worrying than our potential D1 vulnerability is the fact that approximately 1/3rd of all remaining active eIrish fighters are D1 accounts.

eIreland's Division 2 lost 4 of it's 14 hitters recently and 90% of last week's damage also. Bones Eater scored 3rd in OVERALL eIrish damage last week from div2 before departing.

D3 is nearly unscathed and retains 18% of last weeks active eIrish fighters.

D4 retains the eminent BiednyMis & Nerusia but they've a lot more burden to shoulder as several strong D4 players departed between this week and last. 30% of eIreland's 76 remaining fighters are in D4.

Further to this development, 11 of the remaining 76 eIrish fighters are not eIrish MU members: -14%
While foreign MU membership is not implicitly bad, large scale military exodus does warrant scrutiny.
The majority of such eIrish citizens moved to a single foreign MU recently, founded by one of our own, for the purpose of emigration. How many migrate citizenship to match MU may be a matter of our native political state. It's likely that 60% of last week's D3 damage will be saying goodbye soon as well.

Politically, eIreland should drop to around 75 voters. 1/3rd or more of which belong to ILP. The next 3 parties should all have less than 20 votes and 5th place will sneak in with a single digit turnout. eIreland's max ATO mobility is probably below 20 players.
The only conversation in Congress thread B in the last 6 days was to confirm that nothing was happening in thread A either.
Without a bordering strategic partner eIreland is approaching indefensible. While eUK is likely to desire a friendly border, eIreland may depend heavily upon its acceptance into PLUTO.

eIreland starts this Holiday season with a lot of goodbyes,
