Goodbye :-)

Day 1,688, 12:11 Published in Switzerland Switzerland by F4uc0n

Haha, you really thought I’d leave ?

...

You’re right.

After 2 years and 7 months on this account and a few more months on the previous one, it’s time for me to move to something else.

For a few weeks or months, I don’t have as much fun as I had before. The games seems less and less interesting. I was interested in politics but the admin totally let this aspect aside. I was interested in economy and they killed it in order to make sure we can’t earn gold with it.
All what is left is war and a small country can’t do anything in this game except beg for help.

Switzerland changed a lot during these years. First we were occupied by Hungary (and by « occupied » I really mean it. It lasted for months not like todays conquests...)
With a few friends (JNArno, Eleriel, Renouille, Pascal Couchepin, Ilestis) , we managed to pay Hungary in order to recover our liberty.
Then we faced a russian PTO (and a real one, not one or two unknown player giving 2 passports to their friends but tens of people coming here and playing with hundreds of multies). But who remember the Shaolins ?
We also made a revolution against the admin. All presidents signing at the end of the same documents (I still have some logs and our requests).
Since then, we faced a lot of other challenge but it seems to me that none of them were as fun as these.

I also remember the time when everyone was on the forum (not the actual one but another). Then it changes to one or two people and I had to post a message after everything to make sure it continues to live and know it’s alive again. 🙂

I have been in charge of the swiss bank for nearly two years. Wrote everything that goes in and out of it very carefully and hope it will continue. For those who don't know, you can see everything here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AryU4oqULn9VdHhKMGl2M2hOclZ1U3VzdUNSV0dHZ3c&hl=en#gid=0

Who will be the next chairman ? It's your job to decide so go here: http://forum.ehelvetia.ch/viewtopic.php?f=134&t=4834

I gave all my belongings to the bank (about 170 gold, 65k CHF, 2 Q5 weapon compagnies, 1 Q4 and 1 Q3 food compagny). I hope they'll benefit to all of you.
The Swiss Guard has been given to sgtchewy.

What Switzerland will do next ? I don’t know. Maybe you should try to have « impossible » goals like we had in the past.
A fusion with Austria could be fun. Both countries have a relatively small population, both are pro-ONE, you would be able to have more bonus, more firepower and more people means also more fun. I always wished to achieve that one day or another. At least, this would be a real goal to fight for. Many difficulties but so much more fun.

I’d like to thanks a few people (by alphabetic order so there is no discrimination 😉 ) :
- Arschmann. Who still remember him ? The leader of the Shaolins who add a lot of spice in our lives.
- Berengar for being one of the old guys of Switzerland but always loyal to the job.
- Borgogian my italian friend who helped us a lot.
- bowen199 for trying to do a revolution in the swiss mentality with the army system even if you’ll have to work a lot more to achieve this goal.
- Clifford Burns for being so hated by everyone, for saying things he probably couldn’t believe in but being a real PLAYER who loved the game but not its modification. If you come to Fribourg once, I’d be glad to have a drink with you.
- Dr.Pain for creating the Swiss Guard and making it live and all its member having fun and being proud of it.
- George Armstrong Custer for coming in Switzerland and helping us so much with its advise.
- GORANJ for trying to change Switzerland into a monarchy and making all people act as a whole against him. Hail to the fallen king. 😉
- Icewood the leader of the Brainslug Party. Thanks for making me realise the Shaolins were playing their game and had nothing against us. It made me see things with a different point of view.
- Julian Anderson le pro de l’économie.
- konstal our polish friend who did so much for Switzerland.
- Monsieur Guillontine, his holy baguette and his referendum for joining EDEN (and now we’re pro-ONE 😁).
- Patar333 who joined Switzerland not so long ago but is already appreciated by everyone for what he did (and will do).
- Paul Proteus another american friend who left its print here with his friend :
- Penguin4512. I’ll probably never know what the 4512 means but I know I always appreciated your articles, your ice creams and your attitude towards the game : always positive.
- Rican for always supporting me, being so dedicaced to Switzerland giving all he has and for being a really good friend.
- sgtchewy for being so active in the Swiss Guard. I wish you could reach your goal with it.
- trukork avec qui je me suis battu contre l’occupation hongroise il y a près de 2 ans.
- Wazamaza, the oldest of us all. He was here before the hungarian. He even knew the theocrats. And always fought with us.
- Xavibong un des pontes du PSR (Parti Suisse Romand). Merci pour ton enthousiasme.
- Xeraes qui est un peu moins actif maintenant mais avec qui j’ai beaucoup aimé discuter et réaliser de nombreux projets.
- And of course, Eleriel, Ilestis, JNArno, Pascal Couchepin and Renouille with whom I now meet from time to time.

Finally, if some of you wants to keep in touch, here is my email : f4ucon@hotmail.com (it’s not a zero in this adress) or ask me for my Facebook account.
If you feel like having a Battlefield 3, Age of Empires, Minecraft or whatever game with me or all together, I'm here and I’d be glad to do that with you. That has always been one of my goal. If we stay in eRepublik because of its community, why not play something else with this community ?
If one day you come to Switzerland, I have a bed for you (or a kitchen if you feel like testing my skills in cooking). 😉
Pour les quelques francophones qui sont encore là, si vous passez par Fribourg, n’hésitez pas à venir boire un verre.

Don’t forget that eRepbulik is a game. If you still have fun, continue playing it. If you don’t then, move to something else. We all have so many things to do in life. 🙂
