Good bye!

Day 2,964, 15:20 Published in Poland Poland by mjuzikK

My journey started on Wednesday, 22 July 2009 and it finishes on Friday, 1 January 2016 (eRep day 2964). It took 6 years, 5 months, 11 days or just 2355 days .

It's time to say good bye! Thank you to everyone who knew me and those that were in the same egovernment (ePL), party (PWL) and military unit (WP) as me! I had some really great time working with and getting to know a lot of people from all over the world.

Unfortunately for the past 2 years I did not find the game entertaining and I got too occupied with my other hobbies.

I used to enjoy the economic aspect of the game, especially resources' companies (oh the times when you used to make 10 gold a day from a diamond company during the transition from V1 to V2) and the monetary market. The initial military system was exciting too. I think the game was unnecessarily modified (it definitely made a lot of profit before all the players left) and too much emphasis was put on the GUI (they probably employ too many graphic designers who need to show that they are working). I believe that any competition may only be enjoyable if it is on equal terms. I never understood the joy in obtaining an advantage over the other players which came from purchased gold but it was their money and their choice; I think I should have respected it more.

Initially I wanted to give away my gold to a single person. I was planning to organise a contest but it would be too time consuming for me to go through the entries. I decided to give it away as CO in the battle between Pakistan and Croatia http://www.erepublik.com/en/military/battlefield-new/71740. I spent all of my remaining supplies and downgraded everything to put ~1500 gold as CO in the 2nd round in all 4 divisions (D4 was 50% of the sum). This resulted in divisions 1,3 and 4 becoming epic with ~27 billion damage in total

http://prntscr.com/9l0gj0 . A bit of fun and currency for everyone, including Croatia, I hope!

Best of luck to everyone, stay healthy and have enough real money to let you do things that will make you happy. Finally, have a happy new year and celebrate it with your families and the ones you love!
Trzymajcie się!
