1. I’ve learned over the past month and a half that making gold is very important in this game. Depending on your level, making gold can be difficult, but it is very useful for so many things in this game. There are a few ways to make gold in the game:

Leveling up – 1 gold per level
Achievements – 5 gold each
Inviting Friends to play
Using the monetary market

The first 2 are fairly straight forward and do not need explanation. But the last could be of some use. You should always have around 200 – 500 currency in the market, selling for the best price. The reason for this is because the price of currency stays pretty constant. Another is because you can usually buy gold back cheaper, convert it back into the currency, and make a good profit. For example:

Currently, you can sell $500 US for 1 gold, but you can sell 1 gold for $764 US
This means that I can sell $500 US for 1 gold and then sell that gold back for a $264 profit. $264 per gold is almost a full days wage, so imagine doing this several times a day. It works really well with other currencies as well, so experiment to see what happens.

2. You need to be able to supply yourself with enough food to fight each day as many times as you possibly can. If you are going to use 2000 health per day, then you need to focus on building enough building to supply that health first. Do not worry about weapons until after you can do this, or you will end up paying for both. It makes sense to make your own food. Afterwards you can focus on upgrading your weapon buildings. Check out my last article to decide what buildings you need to build to get the most out of your money: http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/is-it-worth-the-cost--1867545/1/20

3. Save your bazookas. As a low level player, it is going to be very hard for you to get a battle hero award. It is possible, and anyone can do it as long as you are smart about what you are doing. On average, I see that you need somewhere between 200,000 and 400,000 influence points to be a battle hero. With one bazooka, you can do 15,000 damage , so you nee😛

100 health + 500 (from town center) + 100 (after 1 hour wait) = 700
700 health = 70 attacks
70 divided by 3 = 23.333

23.333 multiplied by 15,000 = 350,000

If you save your bazookas, you should be able to reach this number in a week or so. If you already have a high influence, then using the bazookas all at once is not necessary. When you decide to go for the war hero, go all out. Make sure you have full health, lots of bazookas, and willing to use them all for the battle. You may have to pick a smaller country to help during this time but the 5 gold payoff at the end may make this worth it. Make sure you are using those bazookas for the eUS.

4. Might as well keep talking about gold use. Be smart about how you buy your companies. You can save a few gold by buying from others that are selling in the market than from building your own.

To build food/weapon company yourself:

Level 1 : 10 gold
Level 2 : 30 gold
Level 3 : 80 gold
Level 4 : 180 gold
Level 5 : 380 gold

Currently to buy from someone else:

Level 1 : 9.89 gold
Level 2 : 27 gold
Level 3 : 72 gold
Level 4 : 162 gold
Level 5 : 342 gold

This might not save a ton, but gold is gold and keeping every little bit you can helps.
