We all saw the unbelievable amounts of gold that came into being in these last few days – and got knowledge of something like this happening earlier too. We saw donations of huge amounts, to and from people and organizations all over the world. It was in PEACE it was in ATLANTIS it was everywhere, and only hardliners can still say that it was the other side only. It was literally everywhere, starting RW-s, buying up whole monetary markets, drowning our little, bug-ridden eWorld with a flood of gold…

We all thought about our issues here. I have my personal problems to live and get better, I have my country’s problems of peace and war threatening, we all have our difficulties that we naively thought to solve with intelligence, courage and skills. But they are all nothing when gold can buy everything. When free, cheated gold wins battles and makes people rich on markets. We, who do not cheat can do nothing against such an adversary!
Gold is making it suxx!
In this way, the game is not fair, not enjoyable, not a worthy game at all. I have heard this evening dozens of people leaving and I am too considering it – for it is not enough to remove fake gold! That gold was used to create problems and solve them too! That gold was used to falsify the game, to make it unfair and make it suxx for most of us. It was used by certain people and by the donations lists we can all know who these were. So admins should know them as well.
BAN THEM!
Ban them all, for wronging our game!
Ban them for cheating!
Ban them for making the game their sick playground!
And all those who used this bug even earlier – the logs should tell easily who they were. They should be banned not matter what nationality they were. This is the least that they deserve. Reset the game to a fair point when this fake gold was not yet in it!

Láttuk mind a hatalmas összegű donateket, emberektől és orgoktól az egész világon mindenütt. Láttuk a PEACE országaiban, láttuk az Atlantisz országaiban, láttuk szó szerint mindenhol felbukkanni és mostanra már csak a legelvakultabbak mondhatják azt, hogy ez csak a másik fél volt. Szó szerint mindenütt ömlött, özönlött az arany, elárasztva, megfojtva áradatában a mi kis bugoktól hemzsegő e-világunkat…
Az arany mozgatja a világot?
Mi mind a magunk kis dolgaival foglalkozunk itt. Nekem is megvannak a sajátjaim, a megélhetés, a fejlődés, megvannak az országéi, a háború és béke közti lavírozás, és mindannyiunknak megvannak a maga dolgai, amelyről naívan azt gondoltuk, hogy majd az intelligenciánk, a találékonyságunk, a bátorságunk és a képességeink fognak majd megoldani. De ezekkel mind semmire sem megyünk, ha az arannyal mindent meg lehet venni! Amikor az ingyenes, csalt arany eldönti a csatákat, amikor a bedönti a piacokat és varázsütésre teszi gazdaggá az embereket, akkor mi, egyszerű e-polgárok ez ellen semmit sem tudunk tenni. Aki nem csal, az nem tud a csalók ellen küzdeni, élni, játszani!

Ezen a módon, így a játék nem fair, nem élvezhető, nem egy értékelhető, szép, jó játék. Csak most este tucatnyi embertől hallottam, hogy így itthagyja a játékot, és magam is ezen gondolkozok – mert nem elég, hogy az adminok elveszik a csalással szerzett aranyat! Az az arany problémákat generált, háborúkat indított, piacokat és embereket tett tönkre! Az az arany meghamisította a világot, tisztességtelenné tette, és mindannyiunk számára szívás lett így. Azt az aranyat tudni lehet kik gyártották, a donations listek alapján még nekünk is, nemhogy az adminoknak.

Ez a legkevesebb amit megérdemelnek! És állítsák vissza a játékot egy olyan időpontra, ahol még nem volt meg ez a csalás!

I wouldn't say e-garenc is a cheater though. Look at his shoutbox and his newspaper, he actually created the first (I think?) article speaking out against the glitch, and if you look at his donations, the unusual donations only started today

I too spent RL money on the game. But now I feel that I was cheated... for I don't have so much IRL to buy thousands of gold, that theese cheaters made in a few hours, and for free. And used it to start wars, used it to buy up whole markets, used it to finance tanks to gain rank... can anyone contend with that kind of an advantage? Where is the game in that?
V2? Reset it and call it Beta again, or maybe even Alpha. This game never should have been called V1 with all these bugs.

Ferm1: this bug may have benn known since months. These gold may have been used in every war, ruining the game, the fun and the feeling for a lot of people. reset, start all over again, from 0. rollback everything.

Regarding the points you state...
I've been playing for more than a year. No companies, no money, a simple player. It's annoying to waste your time (let's say, two months of eRepublik playing) and I will reconsider continue playing if that happens. I've nothing to loose, as I have nothing but my statistics, but there's plenty of things to do better than that.
