Going Back To Cali...Cali...Cali

Mood music anyone?

Well, ladies and gentlemen. Last month President Harrison Richardson worked out a treaty with our Indian allies to provide us up to two more months in the region while we prepare for the move out, both economically and otherwise, while still respecting India's right to the region.

After serious discussion with my advisors, V2 beta testers, and the JCS, we have concluded that it is time to begin honoring the spirit of this agreement by encouraging a graduated withdrawal from the region.

The benefit of this decision are numerous:

1) Avoid a mad rush towards the end, leaving behind a lot of players (both dead and alive)
2) Have plenty of time to get as many players as possible make it home (cheapening the RW cost)
3) The eRepublik Insider and beta testers suggest that higher Q tickets will be needed for further distances traveled. Moving preemptively before a V2 release could save us significant resources and use up some Q1 tickets before release.
4) Economic stimulus \o/

Speaking of benefits....

We all recognize that this will leave the region more open to Resistance Wars. However, the benefits far outweigh this cost, and in reality the worst case scenario is that Karnataka is returned to its sovereign owners, without us and our Indian allies having to pay for an RW! (albeit, slightly sooner than we would have hoped)

With this in mind, the eUS government will begin a graduated withdrawal from the region. lead by everyones favorite hot azn chick, Blazix. Over the next few weeks, we hope to reach as many americans as possible via media campaigns, advertising campaigns, and mass messaging. Anyone interested should contact Blazix.

Our current goal is to have as many Americans as possible home by the end of the day on the 25th of June. This date was picked specifically because it would allow people to vote in their home regions, then simply not return to Karnataka. Don't bother moving to California before then if you'll be moving anywhere to vote, or moving anywhere for any reason for that matter.

I encourage everyone to pick up tickets while they are cheap, and if you are able to do so purchase abroad using an org to help keep supply stable stateside.

MILITARY MEMBERS FOLLOW MILITARY ORDERS.

Odds and Ends:

- Gulden Draak again wrote a great piece on the current state of affairs in America. Many people are very aggressively pursuing military action, and I hope everyone reads that article to know why we have not been more aggressive yet since LionKing. I'm constantly in contact with our military leaders discussion opportunities, but personally we would rather have one victory that two losses, lets build to that victory together \o/

That's a pretty cool picture. You should click on it and fill out the form 😛

Continuing the "Meet the Government" series:

Batterytime released this glorious piece on the workings of the Treasury Department. That, with this piece by Blazix and this piece by Landon, means we're 3/4 of the way done!

Tomorrow you can look forward to seeing a piece by media mogul Mr. Hyphenated discussing the inner workings of the state department

If you have any other aspects of government you'd like explained, go ahead and include requests in the comment section.

- Our Aussie-bros may need more help! Domestic elections suck, so you should see what you can do to help by reading this article, especially if you already have Aus citizenship

- Happy lolpoliticks day! The day when we all get together, watch party president elections, and be glad they only happen once a month

- David Landon made a pretty funny V1 promotional video, check it out if you haven't yet

As always I'm in #chocsoffice if anyone wants to idle/chat/whatnot when I'm not busy.
