Global Fuse: 1 [pre-V1 Archive]

Day 303, 00:53 Published in Japan Japan by Laurana Psion

In the eUSA, demented mastermind (and ironically, former Minister of Education) Martin Sunter has been banned! His name purged from public records and search engines! The charge, multi-accounting! One can't help but wonder what exactly was carried out under the guise of the Ministry of Education, and whether any younger citizens have been corrupted and indoctrinated to the ideals of Sunter.

Elsewhere, trouble also brews wherever disputes arise over territory claims. The newly formed Chinese Liberation Front (CLF) of ePakistan is causing up a stir not unlike that of recent eKorean pro-secessionist activist Kim Il-Sung and his untold number of body doubles! Fierce debates have slowly morphed in trolling which, while raising tempers in most of ePakistan, raises much mirth in other circles overseas (as well as locally). Statistics indicate more and more people associating the word Pakistan with reality TV and other forms of entertainment. Famed entertainment mogul "Permanently Banned Studios" has yet to make an appearance.

However, the CLF has had a greater show of support from foreign countries than our own prodigal son Kim. At least one person, Derakor, former eCanadian has emigrated to Chengdu, Sichuan in ePakistan, so as to further support this cause. Derakor has so far been received like a plagued pig by the majority of ePakistanis and Dioists.

In an effort to ascertain the security and continued safety of eUK in an increasingly violent world, the MoD (SO) has begun publicly recruiting "spies" for MI-6. Main requisites are currently a flair for languages while the true nature of their activities, beyond translating foreign documents, is as yet unknown.

The IRA (SO) recently reported that they have moved to eUSA to "gather support", and have similarly been trolled. One commentator, "Skinny Bones Jones" (a now famous writer of "An interview with Christianity" which has already been syndicated in 3 countries outside of eCanada), was of the opinion that territories in eRepublik have no relation to those in dream/parallel world "RL". "Northern Ireland" here has always been UK territory and as such it cannot be said to be occupied. He further suggests a total restructuring of eRepublik so that for once and for all, "RL" will be disconnected from here. Recently, it appears that such information has been removed. It is as yet unknown whether this was the result of self-censorship or external powers.

In an unrelated incident in eNorway, Dr Geller, a recent publisher of "U.F.O.s and Extra Terrestrial activity in the eRepublik!" who has been met with much criticism, claims that some of his articles have been deleted! Dr Geller decries these disappearing acts as unjustified, high-handed censorship by the mystical "d’Amin". Speculation arises of whether aliens have taken to abducting newspaper articles and not people. Further extremists suggest that the "d’Amin" themselves are not so much arch-deities but aliens!

However, all is not turmoil in eRepublik. As you may know, the eRepublik Stock eXchange (ER😵 is still eagerly awaiting the worldwide electronic systems upgrade which is part of the global development project "V1". In the mean time, the London Stock Exchange (SO) will be offering an interim solution, enforced through the inefficient contract system. As yet they are limited to only UK companies but have a hope to expand overseas.
