GBi Rating Co., Ltd is a newly started Rating Agency who aim to raise the standards of ERX. Through information and rating services we want to improve companies communication to shareholders. Doing this, we believe we will highlight companies with a sound reporting standard. Without information there is no way to value companies, making a unhealthy company impossible to separate from a healthy.
This time we’re listing some major companies and their financial reports. Some companies have extensive information about theire plans, dividends, profits, assets and shareholder right, while others completely leaves this out! We state five basic categories we need to know about before investing.

The quality of the report says a few things about a company or CEO, the figures inside obviously talks for themselves, but it also tells us about about the financial knowledge held by the author. Any GM aiming to become a big player should put the time and effort into making a proper financial statement. A good financial report is also key to getting people to know you on the market, whitout people aware of company business there is no buyers and higher prices. As a shareholder aiming for good profit, this is obviously crucial.

Below, we’re going through our grading system and why we think these things should be stated in a good financial report! Unfortunately, we haven’t found enough candidates for a top ten or even top five, so we have chosen to go through the most well known ones i next Issue. How to get Rated

For companies who aspire a rating we think it’s fair to let you know what we are looking for in a good financial report. Therfore, we'r stating what we expect to find in your Financial Report. Preferabli it's published via Google documents. For the rating which goes from, A+-F, see prices and other services at the bottom of the Page!

Each of below categories are weight into the grade, it’s also important that the financial report is easily accessed through the ERX page. Grades A+ to C- are awarded with a “Certificate of Investment Grade” by GBi Rating Co., Ltd. Below we present the certificate one recieves most likely will look.

Rating categories

Asset Report
This one is obvious; we want to know what the company own. This is basically a complete statement of the company’s assets. The importance of greatly risen since ERX changed the Org valuation. Earlier, all assets were included, now cash and inventory aren’t there any more. These assets can easily make up half of the companies value and using the ORG Value from ERX to compare with market cap will give unjust estimates.

Business Plan
Every Company should state what they are aiming for and why. What is their goal and how are they getting there? Which sectors are they planning to expand in?

Dividend Estimate
This is just one excuse for not having this part if you are even slightly serious. Dividends as you know from our previous issue are one of the most important determinants for share prices.

Profits Estimate
Simply a statement of what the company itself thinks they are going to make. One figure very important, but equally hard to estimate. If the company states great future dividends, but no information about profits, be careful or at least send the company a message!

Shareholders Rights
This is probably the least important part for the average capitalist, but for anyone quiring shares in order to gain influence, this is of great importance. We want to know if there are shareholders meeting held, and what saying they have. Will GM decide to print more shares on his own?

Rating Grades

Rating is set from F, up to AAA+, in total there is 17 different levels. Below is a picture of availabe grades. Grade can be either AAA or AA, where AAA is better than AA. All Companies graded over C is awarded with a "Certificate of Investment Grade".

Org Value: 1 - 499 = 4G
Org Value: 509 - 999 = 8G
Org Value: 1 000 - 4 999 = 8G + 1G per 1000 Org Value over 1 000.
Org value: >5 000 = 13G + 0.2G per 1000 Org Value over 5 000.
