Gaius/Jewitt October 09' (pie Included)

So I have to write one of these darn articles about re-electing me. I am not a big fan of campaign articles, as the time I spend writing them could be better served helping you guys, or writing articles that inform you about much more important things. So in a very Gaius fashion I went with the logical approach. I made a list.

1.)Proven Leadership: I assumed the office of the President during a crisis. Did I freak out, quit or run for the hills? No, I buckled down and focused. I jumped into the job and got going from day 1. I didn't ask to be president, especially with Russia marching on Florida. I helped to re-establish solid ally coordination, worked on the plan to turn the initiative around and found a way to fund that plan.

2.)Two heads are better than one:Jewitt and I have handled the Presidency and Vice-Presidency in a unique way. We were amazing friends before being in office together. As a result the way we have managed the presidency has been unique. We have coordinate almost 24/7 (text messages, phone calls, facebook messages, emails). Furthermore Jewitt is not just another adviser, I know and trust him with anything I would do myself. This means there is never ever a lack of solid leadership on standby. Being a war time is difficult, you have allies, troops, cabinet members and Congress who you have to coordinate with. On top of that you cannot neglect domestic policy, Jewitt has helped me strike that balance.

3.)A Presidency so transparent... One of the things I pride myself most on is how I keep citizens in the loop. My major tool for this, is this newspaper. On very close to a daily basis I post an article explaining everything I did (+some lulz). Furthermore Vice President Jewitt supplements my work with his own articles. The result is that our populace is better informed then ever. They know what to expect and know who to trust for information. Gone are the days of Zoli holding sway over our populace (by the way where is he, I miss him *sadface😉.

4.)Bros for life This is probably one of accomplishments I am most proud of. The brainchild of Emerick, we have proven and certified that the US and Canada are "bros". This has culminated in cooperation and coordination between the US and Canada like never before. Recently Prime Minister Jacobi ,as a sign of how close our ties are, asked me to represent Canada as the Grand Ambassador for the Brolliance. This is not just a "lulz" title but an official job that puts me at the forefront of any negotiations that effect the US and Canada.

5.)Are we there yet? Lets face the facts, this war isn't over. Russia threatens Scandinavia. Hungary is still in North America and Croatia lives under constant threat. I have put a lot of time into this job (sometimes maybe only sleeping two hours). I have built countless relationships with ally and enemy. I am asking that I be allowed to run my race, finish things off and put in one full term. After that I am done, I asked for your trust once before and I did not let you down.
