FTP Survey Results

Day 459, 13:32 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by 70mD
Greetings fellow eRepublikans,

Recently I carried out a survey on behalf of the FTP to work out what it is that people vote for.

These are the results:

Out of 18 people who took part in the survey:

17/ 18 vote in Congress, Part and Country elections, and 1/18 votes in none.

When asked what people vote for in elections the survey reveale😛

11 People vote if the Candidate is in their party
15 People vote on the quality of the Candidates Manifesto
0 People vote on how good the Candidates Profile Picture is (surprise, surprise)
9 People would vote if they agreed with the Candidate's views
9 People would also vote if they knew the Candidate
2 People selected other, with the Other responces being;
- A visible presence and regular attendance are paramount to winning votes and retaining confidence.
- If they're me!!! 😛

Then when probed further about which of these factors mattered most when it came to choosing a Candidate to vote for people sai😛

3 People said What Party they're in is most important
4 People said Their Manifesto is most important
0 People said Their profile picture is most important
0 People said Whether you know them or not is most important (which is surprising)
10 People said If you agree with their views is most important
1 Person said Other is most important to them, with the other responce being:
- If they are in the MDU, I can't vote for them because all of MDU is stuck-up.
I don't vote for FTP, because FD disappeared, and I don't want the others in that party to disappear either.

Then i asked simply if surveyees had heard of the Free Thinking Party

14 People had heard of the FTP
4 People had not

Then finally I asked them if they had a favorable view of the FTP

8 People said they liked the FTP
4 People did'nt like the FTP
6 People had no opinion

From this we can deduce that most people vote in every election, and that a variety of factors affected who the person would vote for, but when pushed further we found that the most important aspect of getting elected is simply whether the person who's voting agrees with your views, which means that you do need a Manifesto or people wont know what your views are, but more than that, they have to agree.

On a more party based scale we can see that most people have now heard of the party, and a good chunk have a favorable opinion of us.

Thank-You for reading my results, and thanks even more if you took part in the survey.
