From nowhere, with love

It’s been a while since I don’t do anything but 2-clicking in eRepublik. I put lots of time in this game for politics, for wars (though I’m no tank) and, fortunately, for friends too.

It’s been a while since I started to be nationless. I just travel, change my CS from time to time, sadly I’m not enough into the game to take advantage of it, because I’d love to.

It’s been a while since I don’t know anymore who are my friends or foes. Maybe it’s this nomad spirit I’ve taken or because I have met many people from many different countries or even this huge rearrangement that keeps on going dividing the world in half. Possibly that’s why this isn’t much fun anymore.

Please, don’t rush your thoughts.

I’ve always thought that changing MPPs would be a nice change you know? Having certain dynamics in the game is actually entertaining. You know, always losing is a society killer in many countries that only turn to become smaller and to be a piece of land which gives resources, or not, just being under enemy domination for the sake of being foes. Always winning, well, lots of you might disagree and might say this is a loser’s thought, but yeah, it’s boring too, you feel you gotta seek more enemies, want a war of your own, etc.

Yet, I’m seeing it happening and no, it’s no fun.

I’ve been asking myself why. The first idea is, of course, that I don’t want to fight with someone who I considered my ally! Seeing your former ally as BH against you when you remember that sometime ago the was dealing that damage for you, not against you, well, it’s shocking.

Maybe … but no. Let’s face it, this is a game, and as I said, change is good.

I don’t read many newspapers, but sometimes I do, and so it hit me. The aggression we have among players, it’s sickening. Ok, I don’t expect to see MKD and Greece loving each other, neither Argentina and Chile, or Poland with Germany or France, or whatever long-term/RL-based war, but I really don’t like to see citizens of countries that used to be friends treating each other disrespectfully. I don’t wanna bring examples as it would be something partial, but I guess whoever reads this can remember seeing this.

So how to solve this?

It’s no easy task of course. But for starters, if you don’t like seeing this kind of situations, please, don’t follow the discussion, it’ll just get bigger. If you see your friends having this attitude, try to persuade him or her. If you like trolling and find trolling fun, keep trolling! But do it like a sir (or like a lady if you feel your feminine side has to arise), don’t get into low punches, c’mmon, we know that if you’re a good troll you can come up of many better ideas than just that.

You still don’t believe me? Well, do the test, try to meet other users, there’s someone behind that flag, and actually it might be really cool, then you might understand me … or us, as I’ve spoken about this same feeling with many other players.

And btw, this is my first article, I’ll try to keep this alive, now I just felt the need to express this. So if you liked this, please vote. And if you wanna make me keep talking, well, sub. I’ll appreciate it.

See you, wherever side you are o/

Oh! If you wanna spread the love, shout it!
