From eUK To eCuba [EN]

Yay! I made it to eCuba. Look at the Caribbean-ness, and maybe we will see eJamaica added in the future. But anyway I am from the eUK previously so I thought I would bring over a few suggestions to eCuba that have been run successfully in the eUK in the past. We have people in eCuba from lots of different countries, and imagine if they took one great thing from their country and brought it to eCuba. This article has 3 ideas that eCuba could create.


The NHS

In real life, the NHS is a service in the UK which provides free healthcare to all citizens. In the eUK it works by giving free food (donated by older, richer players) to players under a certain level which is currently around level 29 in the eUK. I was a volunteer for this service when we had to give free food to about 100 young players every day, and there were only about 4 or 5 volunteers back then. This would be much easier in eCuba as there are 278 active citizens so there will probably be 30-50 who sign up to this scheme, depending on what the maximum level is set at. I do not know what the eUK is currently supplying but it used to be 500 health every day. The first eCuba government could choose how this scheme could be run, but the ideas should be taken from the eUK. It's also a nice way to spread the communism spirit!

National Newspaper Association(NNA)

It is no longer run in the eUK but was an organisation that gave away money every so often for the best articles in eCuba media. It was more successful when eRepublik was more popular as there were more articles in the eUK media, but this would be a good way to try and get people to write an article. I believe it would be good to give one gold, silver and bronze award out either every fortnight or every month along with a small cash prize. I remember winning the silver award for one of my articles and I was really excited, maybe the people of eCuba would be excited too.

eJoke Day is this Sunday. Most of the jokes come from the same 10 citizens (all eUK or ex-eUK) but we do get the odd extra joke from someone else. If you want to take part send a friend request to mwcerberus so he can see the jokes you post on your friends feed, and see his jokes too. Send me a friend request too because I like jokes. I am expecting a joke from everyone... don't disappoint me!
