Recently, the oppressive, authoritarian government of China blocked access to eRepublik. It is no business of the government what websites people choose to access. This is the same thing that the US government does with Poker websites, only this time it's not just about government greed, but it is about Red China trying to oppress free thoughts and ideas from influencing their citizens.

One day China will be a beacon of liberty like Taiwan, which by the way, is a sovereign nation. o/
