Hello all. It's been a while since I published an article. Since all the articles I published before were complete rubbish, I've banished them all to chan hell, probably ruled over by Emerick or something.

I am publishing this article in order to declare that I am running for party president of the Technocratic Party of America. Why do I want to be party president? Well, the Technocratic Party is f*!@ing awesome seems to be the primary reason according to Captain Obvious. The second one is that I want to pump up the awesome to blindness inducing f*!@ing awesome.

Now, what am I planning on doing with this party? Well, I want to continue reaching out to new members and getting them involved in our forums and irc. I contacted many of you over the past two months providing info on what is going on with the party and how to access the party forums and irc. I will continue doing that. For those that I've missed, I am sorry. I literally just look through our party list and try figuring out who is new. If there is a better way of doing it, for the love of Dio please tell me. Seriously, comment section NOW.

I will work with Gnaeus, our past party president and publisher of the party's official newsletter, to continue promoting the party with articles. I think two a month should make our numbers jump. Our treasury can sustain such an initiative and if our party funds somehow get lost in the eye of the warp, mutating them and turning them on us, I will gladly use my own funds to promote the party.

I will post brief walkthroughs (or whatever you want to call them) on our forums that will provide explanations for how erepublik works, complete with links to the wiki on useful subjects. Some people write articles and complete walkthroughs themselves with the intent of educating new players. I commend them for this effort while at the same time saying f*!@ that to hell. The wiki has excellent rundowns on subjects such as the economy and the war module. Seriously though, I want newbs to access our forums and find it educational and welcoming. Knowledge is power and blah blah blah blah blah.


Knowing is indeed half the battle. I want people to know butt loads about things.

I will continue the efforts to establish a party militia by 1) finding those that are interested and 2) pushing these military minded folks into the US military and established militias. A militia is simply not in the cards for us just yet. However, I want technocrats knowledgeable, strong, and ready once we are.

The main issues impeding the creation of a militia at the moment are party infrastructure, gold funds, and members. We just need more of this stuff. Like a lot more. I'll start doing that. Seriously, at this point I think you get the picture. I'll do stuff, make things, and expand things as PP. THINGS PEOPLE.

I joined this party because this group represented everything I love about this game. There is a factor of silly to it. We are also trying to have srs bsns go down by getting competent people into Congress. Hopefully people that will challenge other Congressmen to a bat'leth duel, but competent nonetheless. The best part about the party is that I feel others recognize this is a txt based game and requires imagination. We can make what we want of it. Others have chosen to set up militaries, parties, and organizations that parallel the real world. I say f*!@ that. You want a platoon? We give the Chainsaw Bear Legion (up for discussion… anyone?). You want a party, we give you the freaking Technocratic Party. You get the picture.

Finally, and this is the most important part of my platform: once I take over there will no longer be a party president position, only the Supreme Super Kick Ass Dude position. Or the Technocrat Prime position, whichever name people think sounds more professional.
