Dearest Citizens, Friends, Colleagues and Acquaintances.
I announced earlier this week that I will be running for a second term as your Country President / Prime Minister and today I want to expand on that notification.
Having served a term already, it's pretty clear what I can and will do. I promised to deliver our regions back to us. That was my main priority and eAustralia I can say with my head held high, that I have delivered this for you. We are still at war with eIndonesia, but we are taking back the initiative and soon, now that Serbia and Poland are refocused and that horrid MU Tournament has ended, we will move onwards to having our whole country once more.
I will admit that we fell backwards momentarily for a number of reasons. The MU tournament distracted most of our allies armies, preferring to fight in NE battles rather than their MPPs. Secondly, TWO command had some issues, Serbia was under attack, USA and France regained ground and we were de-prioritised whilst TWO regained initiative. But now, as we saw last night, we are backed, loaded and ready to kick ass again.
This term I want to see our liberation concluded and I am open to talks with eIndonesia with CoT and TWO to negotiate a peace and Non-Aggression Pact (NAP) between our countries that can see a long-term and alliance backed peace protect our sovereignty for months to come.
I will continue this battle.
The next thing I wish to bring up is the brilliant emergence of Centrelink: a government endorsed, sponsored and encouraged program that has been run so fantastically by Hugh and Claire. It has been fantastic system that has brought up and seen some of its members enter congress and enter the system that is eAustralia. I hope that under my next term, we can see Centrelink not only remain, but grow stronger and larger and see the retention that this country needs to beat its enemies!
Also, the Education department this term has released a range of articles educating new players on what their first steps should be to what is our position and goals for this term. Education will remain a highly important department under my second term.
There has also been some talk of proposing new initiatives to draw players in, ie. creating a baby boom. I stated earlier today that, previously our infrastructure was not strong enough to retain let alone attract new players, thereby rendering and new citizens useless. Well I think as outlined above, we have the necessary systems in place to ensure that any new players that join are given a fair go and are easily accommodated. Therefore I am open to any suggestions or programs that aim to create a baby boom. I myself, have two clear avenues that I have identified. That is community recruiting whereby each of us spread the word online about eRep, from a link in a forum signature to a discussion on another game somewhere. The next would be a paid advertising campaign (similar to what Witherd1 tried) on facebook or other social media that requires funding. These avenues will be explored and followed up on in my second term.
Thirdly, I want to discuss the recent media issues. Some of you may be aware that this campaign has already begun to fire up. Unfortunately, my opponents wish to engage in negative politics and attack in a most uncivilised and poor mannered form using vote buying, personal attacks and tactics unbefitting of constructive politics.
I want to express my utter patriotism and pledge to the people of eAustralia that I will NEVER buy votes to shape my position and I will ALWAYS base my campaigns on merit and policy than politically motivated attacks. Furthermore, I want to highlight that for this country I have done 1.7 BILLION damage for my country.
eAustralia will always be my home and I will always fight for her sovereignty, her people and her beauty. Long Live Australia.
So that concludes my first campaign article, I will of course have another follow up article to come and I hope that you will consider giving me a second term in office to finish the work that I set out to do, and that is achieve a stronger and better country.

Getting our Country back is the easy part. I did it when I was CP last year. Keeping it is the tricky bit.
I'd like to know what's going on with the ADF reforms you promised at the beginning of the term but then seemed to fizzle..?
when you were CP chile was allowed in, that in itself is a sign you should never be anywhere near the big chair

your actions as CP let to it by authorizing a dodgy training war which should never have happened.

To be fair Tim - Congress voted on the training war with NZ. Some of congress wanted to go after Indo. NZ seemed like a safer plan than NE Indo. NO ONE brought up the fact or idea that eChile might want to move in.

Tim, we live in a democracy. Most good CPs will let important things be discussed and voted on by the Senate. It's only the bad ones that do shady backroom deals.

i wasnt in congress, so apparently my opinion doesnt count. it certainly doesnt count when binda is anywhere near power
and yes we do live in a democratic country, but we also have this thing called the CP who controls military matters, short of you being impeached you could have stated it was a bad idea and recomend it not happening, you did the opposite so all aftereffects are on your head
Where did you express you opinion? What congress person did you talk to?
If you have an optinion and tell no one, does it exist?
There was a public discussion, a senate discussion, forum vote of the senate, and an ingame vote for the TW. Where were you durring the discussions?
i told binda directly and told a number of people in the public gallery about it, and naturally people who dont like me told me a whole bunch of crap on how i was stupid and etc etc.
Tim - Where? show some proff. We had no allience. We were wiped by Indo a month before.
It is so easy to point fingers a year later.

Well lets look at the state of play, when you were ADF Marshal nothing happened. He sacks you, puts Molly in as ADF Marshal and bingo we start winning..... there's a reform for you. There is also the new MU Combat Orders thing that has had to be addressed this month and that is working pretty well...
We can only assume what was broken in the ADF was replaced.
So you are saying that the 6+months that Majester was marshal the ADF was a failure also and the 1/2 month that Binda was marshal we took 3 regions being a failure?
And we had the largest recruitment of soldiers in 6 months also bindas fault also right Larni.
Binda wasn't active for the battles we took the regions back. That's part of the reason she was replaced. ADF Marshal needs to be reliable, and needs to follow instructions. Neither of which Binda is capable of doing.
Largest recruitment.... could be because of the regions we got back. I certainly don't recall any ADF recruitment drives 😉
I haven't seen war crew using the CO to pay for damage.
I will assume you honestly haven't seen it Cpt but it has been there. Yesterday it was only set for D4 (since we only needed D4 rounds to win) and today it will also be set.
We're still fine tuning the tactics behind it but it works out quite well and is a hell of a lot cheaper than hiring Merc's on the open market.
At least there is one candidate who isn't crazy town banana pants. You definitely have my vote.

after a good term as CP its generally accepted people get a second shot. That's really just a numbers issue. After his success this month there is no reason why Flatty shouldn't keep the momentum going. He has the contacts, he has a Cabinet that works and most importantly he has the results on the table.
Next month will be different since ARP cannot endorse for a 3rd term. So there will be fresh blood then. Hopefully some contenders stick their hands up early in the month.
I secound that and will vote flatty he did a good job also people like Icetek who try to let look others always bad instead on just try to work hard and get the acceptance by the work and actions they do will probably never get my vote.
Well Tim the day I run for real is when I am ready. I don't need to lie about it. I have a few ideas I can share with eAus and actually advance this country instead of just keeping it in a deadlock with wars.
