Here it is! The all exclusive interview that I promised two days ago! With Poland finally free of its fetters, I felt it appropriate to interview the man that was the head of such a successful movement. Such a man is Wieloryb, the ePolish Minister of Defence, a true Polish National. His name means "whale" in Polish, and boy, did he ever have a whale of a tale to tell. So, I give you an edited account of my interview with this remarkable man.

Hi and thank you again to agreeing to this interview.
Wieloryb: Hello. It is my pleasure and more than ok.

Well, to start with, How long have you been playing eRepublik?
It's been about 5 months since I started to play. Buzzy, president of ePoland informed me about the game and I just jumped in.

Have you enjoyed your 5 months?
I would have to say yes.

So you have always been ePolish?
Yes. At the beginning I was confused.

Ok. Why were you confused?
I didn't know what to do, it was quite scary with such a lot of buttons, etc.

Aha. Yes, I hear that things have changed a lot over 5 months in this game. So, how long ago was it when ePoland was taken by eSweden?
This was before I started to play, but it wasn't that eSweden took ePoland.
It was eSweden that helped us, and unleashed us from the grasp of eGermany.

Oh, that was nice of them. Thank you for informing me of this. Please, do go on.
You see, in the beta we couldn't start resistance wars. eGermany defeated us very early on in the game, only because there were few ePolish players. However, in a small period of time many people come to help the ePolish. Soon, we took over the eGerman government, by winning a majority in the congress elections with the presidential elections being won by a polish player too.

That must have been quite an achievement! I could not ever see something like that happening when eAus in eIndonesia.
We printed a lot of DEM, and by doing so, destroyed eGermany.

Haha. A bit of tit for tat, was it?
Yes, it was a little. Anyhow, eSweden soon took over eGermany without any problems.

Mmhmm. And eSweden was willing to give you a proper home?
Yes they were.

Well, with v1 out, was there any instant attempts at a resistance? Or was the resistance a well planned out collaboration between the eSwedish government and Polish Nationals?
The was only one, and it was quickly defeated when the wall had 100k points. Yes, everything was set down in the contract that we signed with eSweden. Contract for the independence of Poland.

I take it that Buzzy was quite influential during this time?
No, the contract was signed by Popolo with Flammbar, and not Buzzy.

Ah, so Buzzy took a back seat in efforts for a homeland then?
Yes, he did. However, after the signing of the contract, Popolo decided that he didn't want such a responsible position as president anymore. Buzzy had helped us in many problems, so we chose him to lead us instead.

So, what was your exact role in the resistance?
I have been and I am the ePolish Minister of Defence. In this role, I organised with miudyk and Buzzy the recruitment of able bodies into the ePolish army.

And might I say, a position that you have obviously fulfilled well during this tumultuous period. Well, ePoland is finally free! You must be elated with being able to see all ePoland back under your feet.
Haha. I don't quite think that ePoland is under my feet, but yes I am very glad in our success.

Regarding the current political scenario in ePoland, I see that miudyk recently ran for President. For what reason did he not come out victorious? Could you enlighten me on this?
Hmm.. Buzzy worked well in his first term, so our people decided to give him another chance. However, I don't remember the programs they each put forth, because I had much to do at time of elections.

Of course. Resistance wars don't run themselves, do they? So, I am curious as to your opinion. What do you think of the war between ATLANTIS and eFrance?
Hmm... Well, without wars this game would be boring. I think that it is normal that stronger countries attack the weaker ones. However, I think PEACE will retaliate and give back a dose of their own medicine.

Ok. Could you give me an idea of the official political leaning of ePoland? I mean, will ePoland stay neutral, or will they try to take an opportunity while it lasts?
Right now, we want to stabilise our country and join ATLANTIS. We will see later if we attack, or just defend our homeland.
