Figures and Facts: A Domestic and Economic manifesto

Hello, citizens of the United Kingdom. I would like to take some time now to talk to you about my visions for the future of this country, particularly in the areas of domestic and economic affairs. Here you will find my visions for the future of the euk, both now and into the V2 transition.


Upgrades and a preparation for the future😃omestic


The domestic portion of our nation needs massive renovation for the coming Erepublik Rising revolution. I have plans for massive overhauls to the ministry of home affairs. This includes the creation of a few new departments for the MoHA, such as the department of urban renewal, and the department of transition.

The newly formed Department of Urban Renewal will be in charge of aiding commons and the Prime Minister in placing new hospitals across the country. The Department of Urban Renewal shall create and present a document to the house of commons that states a recommended timetable for the placement of new hospitals throughout the country. As many of you are aware of by now, the new V2 system has a much different Hospital system which encourages the placement of hospitals through the country, instead of the current fortress system we use for V1. It is my belief that it is crucial for us to move forward and evolve with the game, and that the new department of Urban Renewal carries out that function in spades.

Another new department to be added to the MoHA would be the department of transition. The Department of Transition would be in charge of evaluating the new company system within V2. V2 will bring us a much different value system for products. instead of Quality levels, each part of a product will have a set value. The department of transition will also be in charge of informing the public, particularly businessmen, about the new changes to the economic system.



New departments aside, the Ministry of Home Affairs shall continue it’s high level of involvement and interaction with our local community. If elected I promise to put a large focus on the MoHA, especially for the coming changes that Version 2 shall bring to our daily elives. The MoHA shall continue the structure set up by Woldy, with these two extra departments added on to that structure.


Bringing back the ministry of technology:
In this time of transition, it is extremely important that the UK be ahead of the game in the technology department. I will be bringing back the ministry of technology. In a GLaDOS administration the MoTech will be a hive of the country’s best coders and programmers working together on new and innovative API based technologies to make the quality of life in the eUK better. With the new V2 API, and many other interesting events on their way , the UK needs to be at the forefront of technology, and reviving the MoTech is the way forward.



Economics:


Deletion of the ministry of trade and renaming of the MoF:
The ministry of trade has long been a ministry that is barely used, and in my opinion has long been simply a title that gives one cabinet access. I will close it down, and instead give the few powers of the MoT to an underminister in the newly named Ministry of Economics, or the MoE. The MoE shall retain all the current departments that the Ministry of Finance contains, but it shall also gain a department of trade, as well as a department of economic transition.

Department of Trade:
this department will take over the powers of the ministry of trade, which includes advertising the UK as a market for international goods, and representing our markets and products in the international world. The department of trade will also offer low/no interest loans to citizens who are interested in export licenses to our allies.

Department of Economic Transition:
the Department of Economic Transition will be in charge of making tax suggestions to the congress for the coming V2. they will also be in charge of continuing to aide congress in tax changes as V2 goes into action.

Other effective ministries such as the ministry of work will continue their effective runs, upgrading and renovating for V2 as needed.





The MoE will have a much larger set powers then the MoF, as well as a much larger set of responsibilities. In the coming V2, our economic system will have to be reconstructed and renovated,and the pound shall surely be reevaluated. I want to make sure that the UK comes out of the V2 transition in an extremely powerful position in the world.

The united kingdom is at a key point in it's development in the world. I want to work as hard as I can to make sure that the United Kingdom truly comes out ahead in the world at the end of the V2 transition, and I want to make sure we are ready for the future, whatever it may bring.
