Day 1,228, 18:05 Published in Canada United Kingdom by Jsboutin

Hello eCanadians!

Most people who know me are probably from the CAF or quite a few people in TCO. My eLife is centered on the military aspect of this game, which is, in my opinion, the best way to meet awesome people and have some fun!

So let's get started on this new module:

Content:
1) What's new?
2) Useful facts
3) Fighting strategy
4) Other useful info and recommandations

1) What's new?

With this recent update, countries need to control the battlefield for the longest possible period of time, ending time being worth more than the beginning. At the end of each minute, the country which is over 50% of the wall receives the points for this minute. At the end of each mini battle, the country with the most points wins the mini battle. As it was before, the first country to win 8 mini-battles win the battle itself.

2) Useful Facts

- Each mini-battle lasts for 120 minutes, with a total of 3600 points being awarded.

Points go as follow:

- in the first 30 minutes of the battle, 10 points at every minute
- in the time frame 31 - 60 minutes into the battle, 20 points at every minute
- 61-90 minutes into the battle; 30 points at every minute
- in the last 30 minutes of the battle, 60 points at every minute.

-From the official announcement

3)Fighting Strategy

From these facts, it becomes obvious that the first country to reach 1810 points or more wins the mini battle.

It is also interesting to note that the last 30 minutes are worth as much as the first 90 minutes.

From this, we can have 3 winning strategies :
-Win the first 91 minutes
-Win the last 31 minutes
-Reach the top ASAP, and accumulate points until you reach 1810+ points, then stop fighting.

How to fight?

-Never fight if either country has more than 1800 points.
-Always follow battle orders from your country, the CAF or your own militia.
-DO NOT HIT if the wall is more than 10 points from the center, unless it is the very beginning of a battle. Otherwise, it'd be wasted influence, most likely.

4)Final tips :

- Join the CAF or a militia : Not only will you get better orders, fight more effectively and become better, but you'll also have tons of fun.
- Always make sure you're using all of your food fights before investing in weapons!
