This article isn’t exactly the publicly open type, it has its different purpose. You’ll know If you’re supposed to read it. Although everyone’s welcome to read and share his opinion of course.
I don’t claim to know anything revolutionary or amazingly effective, as a matter of fact, some of my ideas may be wrong. Nevertheless, we need a starting point, synchronized fighting regulations.

Act according to the following suggestions, if you need to know why or get more in-depth knowledge, read the explanation below.

How you should fight:
1) Remember the weapon attribute, tend to fight against those who are at a disadvantage against you.
2) Remember where your unit type receives defense bonus and seldomly consider it when deciding where to move.
3) Safety in numbers – stay with other people and don’t go out fighting alone in tiles far-off from the rest of your allies. The more allies on your tile the better
4) If you’re in a large group facing few really strong enemies, FIGHT!
5) In case you can’t play anymore and you’re at the front line, retreat (there is an exception, read below).
6) If you’re in a hopeless situation (lets say alone against 10 enemies), retreat.
7) Take with you the highest quality weapon you can.
😎 Even if you don’t use a helicopter, always have at least a Q1 in your inventory.
9) If you’re after the benefits of points from fights and would prefer a fast flowing fight, try finding an early one (one which started only up to 1-2 hours ago).
10) Don’t waste any money at all on the battlefield.

Respective reasons (explanation):
1) Rifles have an advantage against artillery, artillery has an advantage over helicopters, helicopters have an advantage over tanks, and tanks have an advantage against rifles. Don’t concern yourself with it too much, you may win even when at a disadvantage, but in case you have equally strong enemies using different assets, it might be a good idea to work according to this chain.
2) Riflemen receive defense bonus in forests, tanks receive it in green hills, and artillery in cities. Consider it, but of course, don’t start wondering off alone aimlessly through your bonus tiles just for that.
3) You are not a one-man-army. Many battles are determined by numbers rather than sheer power. It means that even if you’re the weakest guy around, if you join a group you can still come out a winner. Therefore it’s essential to exploit this idea, or at least make sure it won’t work against you.
4) Majority seems to almost always gain the upper hand. Most chances are that you won’t face your target directly but only lend your power. If all of your tile friends will fight, you’ll win, if you’ll all chicken out, you’ll lose. That simple, so do your part.
5) If you’re not defending at the enemy’s turn, you’ll be much more vulnerable. Moreover, people may rely on your fighting support, so your stay may make them reach wrong conclusions. If you retreat, you’ll be able to return later and contribute properly. If you don’t plan to return later that day, pull back from the front line to the capital or anywhere you think you may help as an obstacle. Or if you’re really weak and think you’ll probably lose to anyone who may attack you, wait in the deployment zone near the edge of the screen , where you can’t be reached. I heard someone who wasn’t healed to 70 because he retreated and didn’t come back, so this is a simple solution.
6) Why fight a hopeless battle? What good will you achieve? You’ll only end up killed (badly injured) and giving the enemy experience. If you’re leaving the field for good, use the methods mentioned in number 5.
7) Your weapon’s quality determines so much in a battle that it would be rare to see someone winning with lower Q than his lost opponent. High Q will let you stay on the field longer and give you better chances of winning and earning exp. It also doesn’t break as fast as lower Q do, so it can be more cost efficient as you may initially think. I can’t stretch it long enough, BUY A Q3-Q5 DAMMIT! Unless battle damage calculations will change you should do it even if you already have lower Q. As for company owners, they’ll have to manage and upgrade- it’s important we get stronger, as quantity is not our strong side. Might as well try to compensate with quality. Seriously, if the prices are too high, ask the managers personally to lower prices- they’ll sell more weapons that way, you’ll get stronger, everyone’s happy.
😎 Lets say you need to be somewhere else, for one of many reasons, and it may be far. A Q1 helicopter won’t cost you much, but it may save you many traveling turns. Plus, it won’t break if you won’t use it in battle (always end the turn with it behind allied forces separating between you and the enemy and you can travel like this as much as you want).
9) Many of us know it- the annoying time wasting “processing data” waiting phase. If you join an early fight there won’t be a lot of people and you’ll have to wait less. Not to mention the system will be a lot more responsive too.
10) It’s unnecessary to pay for good fighting results. Follow the above tips and you should get very far anyway. Our economy, and in particular, you, could use that money to do much more significant things. Unless you’re one of those lv. 24-27 citizens who can reach far with one health pack, save it. Besides, lets say you wanted to extend your fighting time to all day long with packs and beat 30% more enemies with upgrades… Do you really like that thought? Nothing else to do but fight in turns all day long? If you want an RTS game, go play Tiberium Wars or something else that’s done professionally. You’ll have more fun, and scientific research claims it will also improve some of your thinking capabilities. If you seriously need an example of what you can do with the gold, how about company partnership? Many companies would like to upgrade quality (especially important considering reason 7). They don’t always have the money needed, and in return to helping them you can ask for percentage of sales and such stuff. Our economy could use more stabilized companies…
