Dear Admin,

In your immortal words, “In the last weeks we have made a lot of changes in the game. The majority of them were based on your feedback.” Well, Admin, I’m very interested in finding out what that feedback was, seeing as you continuously censor enormous amounts of negative feedback about eRepublik and the way that you are running it.

My friends, the days of eRepublik may be numbered because of this restriction of free speech. Countless citizens have had their articles removed, received forfeit points or even banned for criticizing eRepublik changes and policies, and who knows which one of us will be next? Who amongst us writers will be the next to suffer another of these unjust punishments?

New articles are being increasingly censored because you, Admin, are deluding yourself into believing that eRepublik is virtually perfect and has no faults by refusing to acknowledge that many of us are unhappy with the way things are going. This is utterly ridiculous! Admin, if you don’t want us to be unhappy, then work to improve the game by listening to our feedback and criticism rather than censoring it. By doing so, you are punishing us for having an opinion!

And while authors are censored and punished for exercising their right to free speech, citizens who have freely and openly admitted to have cheated the system through such means as multi’s are allowed and even enabled to continue cheating by your policies and decisions, Admin.

I still love this game and gladly spend hours playing it on a daily basis, working on my party and my newspaper, amongst other things. These days, however, the policies of censorship and restricting free speech are making me enjoy this game less and less.

With spending both time and RL money on this game, I would expect you, Admin, to be a bit more appreciative of your customers, by listening to their constructive criticism and working to improve the game based on it. Whatever happened to the adage of “the customer is always right”? Unfortunately, that mentality is nonexistent here; rather, you alter that to “Admin is always right and those who disagree get censored and punished”. Talk about injustice…

I demand the right to FAIR PLAY!

I demand that UNFAIR AND UNJUST BANS AND PUNISHMENTS BE LOOKED INTO AND OVERTURNED!

I demand that TIME BE SPENT IMPROVING THE GAME AND LISTENING TO THE CUSTOMERS RATHER THAN CENSORING THEM!

I demand that THIS GAME BE WORTH MY MONEY!

I demand that THIS GAME BE WORTH MY TIME!

I DEMAND THE RIGHT TO FREE SPEECH!

AND I DEMAND THAT THAT RIGHT NOT BE INFRINGED UPON BY ANYONE, ESPECIALLY YOU, ADMIN, SHOULD BE PROTECTING AND ENSURING IT, NOT RESTRICTING IT!

AND IF THIS ARTICLE GETS DELETED OR IF I AM PUNISHED IN SOME WAY FOR HAVING WRITTEN THIS ARTICLE, IT ONLY PROVES ME RIGHT!


I DEMAND MY RIGHTS, MY LIBERTIES, AND MY FREEDOMS!
