Before the “dust can settle,” something needs to kick it up…

In eRepublik, the 25th of every month is KICKED UP.

Congressional elections are a time of massive involvement for more eCitizens than any other time. If you have not visited #fedpartychat on the 25th of the month, you have missed it all. Would you buy a Porsche and use it as a haywagon? Then why play eRep and not be involved in Congressional elections? You are missing the fun!!!



Of course, the fun does not start until later in the eRep day. If you had logged on during the first half of the day, all you really saw was spam about cake and pie, some candidates slinging their links, and a few questions about why everything was so quiet. As of noon eRep time, not one official Fed candidate was even leading their respective race. Something was bound to change.

Enter… THE TEAM. There was Tiacha. There was Firesand. Jeremyr, MitchRapp and Greene12. And then there was fingerguns. The arrival of this gargantuan group of glorious go-getters was the herald of fun. And fun, on the 25th of the month, at #fedpartychat means business.

First, there is the raffle. With 25 prizes up for grabs including a house and Q3 gun packs, Federalists were being encouraged to delay their votes until the last possible moment. Feds were logging in saying they had 6 minutes of internet time left… where should they vote? Meanwhile, the rest of the team was following the entire election process to determine where each and every IRC vote should go. Moving Tickets were flying around like candy canes at Christmas. Gifts followed. It was a laugh riot; a wild ride for hours.

Then there was the smack talk. Between Deleruin, iasov, and a few other interlopers, lulz were aplenty. If you had an itchy kicktriggerfinger, you used it! Come on, everyone knows where the fun is - #fedpartychat. And the emphasis is on PARTY! We don’t need no stinking balloons.



We watched as candidates themselves were directed to vote… for someone OTHER THAN THEMSELVES! You think your eRep Political Party is cool? FedsMAXXXX.

There was a bonus bonanza of bizarre too. Vincent85 accidentally won in some place called Guangxi, and successfully blocked a PTO in the process! Let this be a lesson… Blocking is Rocking, Socking, and Election Day Shocking. Vincent85 has barely just had his eUmbilicus cut and here is a Congressman. He’s got some reading to do now!!! (NB: start with the Constitution).



And speaking of Election Day Shocking, fingerguns also won, picking up 3 mystery votes from who knows where in a race we weren’t even watching. Someone check. Did we vet fingerguns or not?

Folks, it was a party scene. Yes, there were a couple of painful losses. We got sniped and no one is exactly sure what happened to Jeremyr yet. But all in all, if you were not in attendance for the #fedpartypartyparty, well, you must have been lost in a dust cloud. The dust settles for another month…

So congrats to winners, kudos to workers, and keep-it-ups to everyone.
