It's time to face facts. Search parties have been sent out and attempts to contact Emerick have been made. We are now slowly closing in on a month since the day we have last seen Emerick. It has become apparent that he is no longer with us in corporeal in-game form. He has left us all, like lost sheep to wander the strange and dangerous wasteland that is known as eRepublik. His spirit has returned to the sands of Pakistan from whence he came.

Let us all remember Emerick for what he was to both the eUSA and the world. At times he was the epic troll in a sea of insufferable and twisted logic and at others he was the voice of reason in a world poisoned by rage and irrationality. He was brilliant and yet undisciplined. A visionary leader and yet irreverant to all authority. Emerick truly was a riddle wrapped inside an enigma. Emerick was America.

When I first met Emerick, I hated him almost instantaneously. He was uncommonly obnoxious and incredibly arrogant. We argued often into the early hours of the morning over policy. Despite our initial differences, I slowly grew to like and agree with Emerick as I learned and grew as a player. Eventually through hard work and perseverance Emerick became president and despite the odds stacked against us at the time, the White House was full of active and motivated people who were committed to saving the nation. Emerick was truly at his peak of intellectual and trolling goodness at this time. It might have possibly been the eUSA's finest hour.

Today, Emerick is gone and quite possibly not ever coming back. In all likelihood, he got a life, arrested, or murdered. I encourage all of that are continuing to send him food, to stop. Emerick is gone, do not keep his profile alive like some vegetable on life support. Let's all just let him slip away. If he is truly strong with Dio, one day he might return dead or not. Let's all remember Emerick for what he was... Farewell Emerick and God speed.
