F Company Battle Statistics - Poitou

Day 404, 12:51 Published in USA USA by Steve Bee

Soldiers...I am pissed off. We have been keeping close track of battle statistics in Poitou and I am VERY disappointed in the numbers that are in front of my face.

You can view the numbers here: http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=pAECW2h2GIMNHIWPMDQsRZA

These numbers were checked all throughout the battle by myself, czeckmaster, and the Platoon Leaders. Meticulously updating them was a pain, but we felt like it was needed to see what actually is going on in our Company. Sure, people can respond to roll calls and whatnot, but are they actually getting their asses in gear and fighting the enemy...

Clearly, the answer is NO.

Some key points from these numbers:
- Not one Platoon had more than 50% of its members actively engaged in combat
- There were only 82 total fights from F Company. This averages out to be only 1.67 fights per soldier in F Company.
- F Company only amassed 1,847 total force, with 1090 of this force coming from Officers alone.

What is this telling us? Well for one thing, we have some major problems to work out. Also, I suspect that similar numbers could be found in most Platoons in the Army.

We need a solution.

Chahk Noir, Captain of Golf Company has graciously put forward his services to edit this Force Sheet to auto-update itself. Thus, we will always be able to tell how much Force our soldiers are dealing from day to day. I URGE ALL MILITARY LEADERS TO CONSIDER IMPLEMENTING THIS METHOD TO ALL PLATOONS. We need to keep track of who is fighting and who is not. Weapons supplies could be just wasting away or being sold instead of being used properly.

F Company Platoon Leaders: Thank you for doing your duty for the Army. You fought valiantly and I am proud of you. Now, we must fix what is wrong. View the sheet, and I want you to personally message each soldier who did not fight and ask them a simple question: why? We need some accountability for their non-action. Compile the responses and send them to me via-PM. I will take a look at these reasons and see where we can improve.

That is all.
