Experience points system in V1
Dear citizens,
Experience points (EP) represent the knowledge level a citizen reaches in Erepublik. One experience point is received each time you train, work or eat. So a regular user can receive three experience points per day with minimal effort. Additionally, EP will be received because of some special pages:
- when you upload your first avatar;
- when you get your first job;
- when you fight;
- when you vote;
- when you create a company;
- for every quality upgrade;
- when you get elected congressman;
- when you create a party;
- for every party election you win;
- for becoming a country president.
After reaching a certain experience level, several features will be available for your citizen, like:
- fighting;
- voting;
- creating your own newspaper;
- creating companies;
- becoming a party member/president, member of Congress or country president.

In order for you to receive the gold bonus from an invitation sent, the citizen you invited to Erepublik must reach the sixth level (at the same time he also gets 5 gold).
Citizens from the Beta version will receive experience points when V1 is launched based on:
- previously having a job;
- number of trained days;
- number of worked days;
- number of fights;
- number of votes they have expressed;
- number of elections won (party, Congress, presidential).
We use this occasion to announce that the tunning for the servers was completed and everything works fine now (phew!).

@bazti: 10 days old citizens will still be able to vote: if they work, train and eat for 10 days they get 30 EP. plus 5 more points when they get hired. the vote requires the 6th grade, that\'s 35 points.

What\'s this 40 EP before joining a party for? I know plenty of people who have made a though through choice of which party to join in just a couple of days. I don\'t see the point about that one. George Lemnaru, or whoever usually answers; why is this?

I personally appreciate that 40 EP because there will be group of people which don\'t belong anywhere. They will be like ordinary people IRL(IRL not everybody has a party) .

Danny: it might be a good idea. You don\'t have to be in a party to express your opinions, and it helps preventing fake accounts that can take over parties etc.

hum...interesting. When you lose a fight, do you lose experience points? They should also be awarded to those who have been in erep for a long time. ex 2 EP per week or something like that. And in the Top stats, we should have a section for join date.

Great update - much needed
Want to point out that the number of training days will have to be re-calculated from your STRENGTH level. The current number of trained days stored/displayed is wrong and is reset every 22-28 days.
Also, we will not keep the points from our invitations? I am very disappointed to hear that. People who took part in the beta (us) should be allowed to keep them because they helped recruit and make ER what it is today.

Hopefully you can start organizations abroad and put up companies there, have a place where you can manage the all. Which was one of the idea I had for a game.
I\'ve trained for around 280 days, but my user points page only shows 26 days, will this be reflected in the experience points I receive?

Yeah, I\'m more pleased with this update than most of the recent ones.
Players have to play for around 20 days before they can enter a Party. Hopefully they\'ll use that time to get educated first.

I like this things. mostly because we will have unlimited invitations in time. One question, Cristesco. SO-s to create a company must have EP 65 that means they have to wait 65 days to do anything. And if you take away the limitations for SO-s then people could open SO-s to wite a newspaper and so we still do not get rid of the spam
or you can let a SO to create a company or write a newspaper only if the owner of the SO has the required EP.
