Day 753, 11:47 Published in Germany Netherlands by MortenLond

It's been several months since I last released an article, so I apologize if my writing seems rather crude. I intend to make more article in the near future, however let's move on to the main subject of today:
The german baby boom

We have all heard of it, we have all dreamt of it. But ever since Germany was freed in november 2008 there were several factors to which held us back. One was the very lack of eGermans and the limitation of language, being of which was that there was no german version of features and in menues.

The first one we rather quickly solved, as we showed we have roughly the same number of active players as Sweden, albright lower levels compared to them. The second has been solved within the last month, which means the last remaining problem has been eleminated.
For the last months we have all noticed the messages coming out of the different governments that we should do this on one page, do that on another page. It did help to some players, but most of us know it won't cut it.
Germany has the real potential of a superpower, with over 80 million real life citizens, it can come as a surprise that we are still located way down the list of nations, while nations such as Hungary with only 10 million real life citizens are on the top 5. By all means it should be us on at least the top 10.

I'm not going to lie, it is very possible that the current level of citizens could be all there ever is, yet I can't shake off the feeling that we could be so much more. There is many internet active germans, so why is it that they aren't playing erepublik? Is it because text based games hasn't caught on? Is it the war module which are holding them back?

I have no real answers, but it's clear something must be done. One could suggest using facebook as a means to get people to play the game, but most would be lying, if they didn't think telling people about playing a text-based game bent on conquest of the world, as a little geeky.
I'm danish in real life, so it is by no means me you should ask on how to get germans to play, I just wanted to try and light the attention to it, since to me, it seems as if the current situation has stalled and is not moving at all.

This is me signing off

p.s: If anyone would translate this I would be happy, but I primarily wrote this in English since I find that way to many articles are posted in german only 😉
